See...I told you!!!

It is amazing.

George W. Bush announces that he will remove the Executive moritorium on the oil shales in the western United States, and suddenly gas prices are dropping.

Just off the announcement!

Imagine what would happen if we announced today that the rigs were en route to the continental shelf?

Imagine what would happen if we announced that ANWR was going to be utilized?

If there are ANY doubts that the drilling of our own oil will lower gas prices left, then you must work for the Obama campaign.

Obama-nation

Barack Hussein Obama decided to pre-emptively trump future claims of his inexperience in foreign affairs with at trip to the middle east.

His trip was nothing more than a glorified photo op. That didn't matter. Katie Couric, Brian Williams, and the other A-List media personnell that came along for the ride didn't care about substance on the trip. Heck, they have not asked for substance since he came on the scene. All he had to do is walk tall, look presidential, and NOT SCREW UP! You can see his aides clinging to his calves like a 2-year-old to mommy, except they were trying to weigh down his legs so his foot could not make it to his mouth during this trip.

Their efforts were in vain.

Obama's first gaff came when he left the bases in Iraq, Kuwait, and Afghanistan. He mentioned that a majority of the TV's were set to Fox News Channel. He made no reservations about implying that it was a Presidential Mandate from George W. Bush himself. He tried to make it an issue that the troops were forced to watch FNC, right up until someone kicked him and said, "Sir, they have a choice!"

That's not too big a deal. Just shows how much of a wuss this guy is as he cries foul to the media everytime there is something he doesn't like. Big woop.

Then, while in Germany, he skips out on visiting the injured soldiers. He claims that he didn't want it to be a politicized issue. He didn't want to appear to be making political gains while in the hospital. Of course, after the Pentagon approved the visit but said that it was not to be in anyway a campaign stop, but a visit, Obama decided not to go.

I am SURE it had nothing to do with the fact that no cameras or media were allowed. It had absolutely nothing to do with the impossibility of a media photo op. I am certain of that! (Sarcasm coming through alright??)

Obama showed why he is the liberal elite's choice. He will not do anything unless it can benefit him. He is not about the troops. They are beneath him. They are dumb, gun-toting hicks employed by a Texas oil man who starts wars for no reason. That is what Obama thinks. They are bitter rednecks clinging to gus and religion, right?

It is a shame that Obama could not go and say "Thank you" to these wounded soldiers. It is sad. It shows what kind of 'man' this jerk is.

The Difference Between Liberal and Conservative and The Slant of the AP

Within a 30-day span, America got to see the truth about Liberals and how drastically different Liberalism is from Conservatism.

On June 13, 2008, Tim Russert, a good, well-respected, hard-working, popular JOURNALIST died suddenly. It sent shockwaves throughout the world. Everyone who even remotely follows current events knew who Russert was, and, most likely, respected, if not liked, this JOURNALIST. (Journalist capitalized because Russert was one of the very few members of the NBC News bureau that was truly a Journalist and not a liberally-biased hack).

Russert's death was reported with humility, respect, and reverence. His memory and his legacy were upheld without equivocation. His life, work, family, and career were all celebrated and commended.

All of the mourning and celebration of Russert's life were well founded and appropriate. Russert did not let his political views determine his reporting. He reported down the middle and told the truth as best he could, in my opinion. He was truly one of the greats.

Fast-forward one month. Tony Snow, a likeable, hard-working, decent, honest man and JOURNALIST dies after a 4+ year battle with cancer. While Snow was not of the legendary status of Russert, Snow was a very accomplished journalist. He reported the news while in the media. As White House Press Secretary, he did not let the media bullies of the White House Press Corps intimidate him.

He was a fun, intelligent, strong man who did not take attacks as a journalist or Press Secretary to heart. He had a thick skin and a warm heart. He also had the will and backbone of legend. He fought to the end.

Yet, the AP uses their obituary to take pot-shots at Tony Snow. Instead of paying respects to the man, they question his integrity, intelligence, honesty, and ability to understand and report facts.

In the obituary, the 5th and 6th paragraphs come across as very snide and disrespectful to the man.

Snow was working for Fox News Channel and Fox News Radio when he replaced Scott McClellan as press secretary in May 2006 during a White House shake-up. Unlike McClellan, who came to define caution and bland delivery from the White House podium, Snow was never shy about playing to the cameras.

With a quick-from-the-lip repartee, broadcaster's good looks and a relentlessly bright outlook - if not always a command of the facts - he became a popular figure around the country to the delight of his White House bosses.

Playing to the cameras? He didn't have "a command of the facts?" The man is not yet buried and the AP uses their power as another way to cut down someone who has Conservative tendancies.

This truly defines Liberalism. They SAY they are compassionate. They SAY they care about people. They SAY they are the truely good people, while the mean, money-hungry conservatives are the jerks putting them out of work. They SAY they are for freedom and equality and freedom of speech, yet they cut down and attack everyone that has a different opinion or outlook.

The LA Times is just as bad. While their writers did not attack or question Snow, they certainly allowed their MODERATED comments board to fill with smut and trash and the type of vileness that has come to define the Democratic party.

I hope the rest of these criminals die too. Good riddance to a person who contributed to making this world a worse place.

There is special place in hell for Mr. Snow. As a co-conspirator of the Bush administration, I have no special sympathy for him. I only wish his suffering were more prolonged.

I prefer to give tribute to the many fathers, mothers, sisters, and brothers of the hundreds of thousands of innocent Iraqi civilians that were killed all because Mr. Snow continued to perpetuate the lies of the Bush Administration. May THEY rest in peace.

The worst lies are indeed the ones we tell ourselves. May Tony Snow get the eternity he truly deserves….

It is sad. Not one person said an ill word about Russert, and rightfully so. Yet, because he worked for Fox News and President Bush and was a conservative, Tony Snow is insulted and his memory and legacy attacked by hate-mongers.

When in the Course of human events...

How many of you knew, before making the connection with today's date and the nature of my blogging, that these words began the Declaration of Independence?

How many of you know what the Declaration of Independence REALLY means?

On July 4, 1776, a group of men called the Second Continental Congress adopted this document. This document was a dissolving of the political and governmental ties to the state of Great Britain. While it was adopted on July 4, 1776, and essentially gave birth to the United States of America, only John Hancock, the elected President of Congress, signed the declaration on this day. July 4, is celebrated as America's birthday. It is the symbolic date in which the world forever changed. It is the date upon which the last semblance of the British Empire was erased due to the unfair taxes and practices of the King of England. Some of the information I read at the above Wikipedia link was old hat, old news that I had heard during my liberally-biased education in elementary and high school history and civics classes.

However, those old facts and the new facts I had not learned all came together, along with something I had heard on the radio the other day. Sean Hannity, as well as several other conservative radio hosts I listen to, play clips of President Ronald Reagan's speeches from time to time, courtesy of the Heritage Foundation.

In this particular instance, the late, great President Reagan is talking about how America's traditions and power are eroding because of a lack of understanding by current generations. America, the America that Reagan still envisioned and loved, the America that the parents of the baby boomers fought and suffered and died for without regret or reservation, is falling further and further into the past. It eroding and fading away.

I have come to a conclusion based on my Wikipedia reading, and the inspirational words of President Reagan. Today, the day we celebrate America's birth, freedom, and independence, we need to sit down during the weekend and revisit our history.

The generations that are running the world today have lost touch with the realities of what made America great. We have lost our identity and pride. American pride is washing away into the oceans of guilt, regret and self-loathing, as brought on by the bleeding hearts on TV.

Why are there liberals who project a feeling of guilt when it comes to our freedoms, prosperity, and success? Why do we have Americans who hold disdain for their own country due to the very freedoms that allow them the right to publicly hold and display that disdain?

We need to revisit the sacrifices of the men, women, and children of the wars in which America has fought. From the French and Indian War to the Revolutionary War to the War of 1812 to the Civil War to the two World Wars to the Cold War to Korea to Vietnam to the two Persian Gulf Wars, Americans take for granted the sacrifices and pride taken in those sacrifices.

Do we really, truly know what it means to be an American? Do you know what John Hancock and the Second Continental Congress was trying to accomplish with the Declaration of Independence? Do you know what the Bill of Rights really means?

More importantly, are you proud to be an American? Are you thankful to God to be living here? If not, perhaps President Reagan was right. Perhaps you desperately need to relearn and comprehend your country's rich history, and redevelop your pride and appreciation for this great land.

As I conclude this July 4th blog, let me add a deep, heartfelt thank you to the following people for their sacrifices, sometimes unintentional and unwilling, that made America the greatest country in the history of man kind. I say that this is the greatest without reservation, shame, embarrassment, or any negativity of any kind. I say it because it is fact. America is the greatest country, EVER.

Thank you for making the blog and country possible:
-Current and past members of the Armed Forces.
-The wives, widows, and orphans of Armed Forces personnel, past and present.
-The victims and the families of those lost in the attacks on 9-11-01
-The victims and families of the attacks on the American Embassies in the 1980's and 1990's
-The men and women in uniform for the nation's police, fire, and rescue units.
-Men and women like Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Ann Coulter, Laura Ingram, and the countless others who love their country and make no mistake about their American Pride.
-The men and women and children who constantly pray for the safety and return home of our soldiers in harm's way.
-The leaders in the Second Continental Congress who took the bold initiative to Declare our independence from the tyrant British leadership in 1776.
-The tireless and endless support of our allies in Britain, Poland, Australia, Israel, and the many other countries who have been by America's side since 9/11.

Thank you to the groups I mentioned above, and millions of other people who have given me the opportunity to live in the freedom and greatness of America.

The unanimous Declaration of the thirteen united States of America,

When in the Course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature's God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.

That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness. He has refused to pass other Laws for the accommodation of large districts of people, unless those people would relinquish the right of Representation in the Legislature, a right inestimable to them and formidable to tyrants only.

I'm Still a Guy...Part 2 of 2

These days, too many males are shirking their responsibilities as men. They are "men" when its time to get a girl naked, yet they run and bury their head in the sand the second their romp ends up in conception. Males are all but happy to perform the fun part with as many women who are naive enough to participate, yet there are so many biological fathers who run like a 4 year old from a broken lamp to shirk their responsibility.

Any male that is not a strong influence and role model for his children is not a man. No MAN has ever not accepted his duty as a father. Children need a man in their lives. It teaches boys how to be a man, and it teaches girls what a man should be like and what not to accept as a man in her life.

Children need a man in their lives as much as they need a woman. This is not sexist, this is fact. The man is just as influencial in a child's life as is a woman. For balance, security, role-modelling, and structure, a child need its father as much, and in some areas, more than, the mother. However, not just any male can be a father. A father has to be a MAN. A man has to be a stallwart and a person in which children can hold high esteem.

The character of a real man is based in responsiility. A man finds and provides food, shelter, security, and stability for his family. Sometimes, this can involve a woman's help, either financially through her work, or in other ways. However, it is a natural instinct for the man to be the breadwinner. A man needs to be responsible for ensuring a warm plate of food on the table, a sturdy roof overhead, a safe place in which to live and eat, and a strong environment in which the family can grow and prosper.

A man's responsibility is also to model God-fearing, God-serving, and Christ-like practices in all that he does. A boy will watch his father more intently than imaginable in those early formitive years. It is the man's responsibility to model appropriate behavior for the son to model, as well as for the daughter to become accustomed to so that she seeks the same in her mate later on in life.

No MAN has ever hit a woman. Re-read that statement. No one who is a man has ever laid his hands on a woman in a violent manner. If you hit a woman, you are not a man. If you strike anyone in any manner other than legitimate self-defense, you are not a man. No bully can also be a man.

A man must love his wife and his family without equivocation or doubt. The man must devote himself to the happiness and security of his wife and children. The way in which he treats his wife is going to be, in most cases, the way the son treats his wife in the future. If a man loves, honors, and respects his wife, his son will do the same. Just as importanly, his daughter will expect the same and not settle for less. The converse is true as well. If a man disrespects, cheats on, or otherwise does not appreciate his wife, his children will mimmick the behavior in their relationships.

So, to all members of the male species, it is time to reassert ourselves. It is time to fight the feminization of our kind and take our rightful places as real, big, hairy, stinky, sweaty, competitive, risk-taking men. It is time to show all these little boys what a man REALLY is...

I'm Still a Guy...

Brad Paisley currently has a song on the charts simply called, "I'm Still a Guy." It is a simply, funny, testosterone and masculinity infested song that reminds us of what is wrong with society.

In a less humorous but even more poingiant work, Dr. James Dobson looks at the eroding ideals of maleness and masculinity in his book, Bringing Up Boys.

The issues and themes that the song and the book have in common is that there is a constant, successful, and damaging attack on maleness and what it means to be a MAN. Our society is destroying and eradicating what it is that naturally makes men and women different.

This blog is a two-part series of my opinions of the lack of real “men” in our world’s society. Of course, this is the type of thing that is a broad generalization. There is no rule or implication of a rule of society. However, this two-part blog is an indictment of society as a whole. Everyday you might be able to see or hear about exceptions to this blog and its ideas. Nonetheless, on the whole, this blog, I think, accurately describes and investigates the castration of society.

No longer are men celebrated as being hairy, brutish, strong, cocky, competitive, and instinctive leaders. Men are supposed to be full of estrogen and "think" and "feel" and exfoliate and moisturize and remove excess hair. Men are becoming women and women are becoming the middle ground, somewhat masculine, yet still a hint of femininity. Men, however, are constantly derided for having masculinity and defining themselves as different than women.

Males within the human species are becoming de-gendered. There are these metro-sexuals that are blurring the lines between gay and straight, man and woman. It is adversely affecting our society.

We, as human beings, are not decedents of metro-sexual cavemen. We are not the end result of generations of humans who did not differentiate the sexes. Humans come from male hunters and gatherers, and from female home makers.

Now, do not get me wrong. There is NOTHING wrong with women in the workplace. There is no problem and I hold no grudge or ill-will towards a two-working-parent household. I am not sexist, nor am I anti-woman. To accuse me of being sexist and anti-woman would be incredibly ridiculous and far off from my point.

The point of this blog is to call on males to recapture what it is to be a MAN. Men are supposed to get sweaty. Men are supposed to get their hands dirty. Men are hunters and gatherers. Men are competitive. Men do not use loofa sponges. Men do not get pedicures and manicures and facials. Men do not get botox injections. Men, at least those who are not Olympic swimmers, do not shave from nose to toes. Men do not pluck their eyebrows.

We have a severe lack of masculinity in our society. Society worked best when there were clear definitions of what a man was and what a woman was. Boys today have instincts to be little men, yet they have no one to look to in order for them to channel their masculine energies into becoming strong and capable men.

I am very much a Right Wing Conservative. I am a Reagan Conservative. I believe Americans, in general, are smarter than elected officials in Washington, DC. We should be more in charge than the Government.

I believe in America's greatness and that, overall, we are the most generous, forgiving, intelligent, and genuinely decent country in the world. I also believe that we are the most powerful nation in the history of the world, but do not use that power to hold over the collective heads of other nations.

I believe that low taxes, intelligent spending of those tax revenues, strong initiatives on defense and education, and small government influence on the day-to-day lives of Americans are some of the most important ideals related to how the US should be operated.I believe in the freedoms granted by the US Constitution. I believe that judges should uphold and interpret the laws as written in the US Constitution, and not refer to any foreign legislation to make their historic decisions.

I believe the First Amendment, as well as the entire Bill of Rights, are the most important laws this world has ever seen.

I believe abortion is WRONG. I believe that homosexuality is WRONG. I believe that allowing anyone to publicly debate the possibility of lowering the age of consent, especially for young boys to consent to older men, is a tragedy of morality. I believe that organizations like NAMBLA should be publicly shunned and not given a platform to spew their harmful and dangerous rhetoric.

I believe there is a sad lacking in the ability of our nation to appreciate and accept self responsibility. We, as a nation, blame daddy, racism, sexism, classism, mommy, the mean teacher, the mean little league coach, the loud mouthed uncle, the financial status of the neighborhood in which we grew up in, and a million and one other reasons why we do not succeed. How often do we, as a nation, take the blame for our own mistakes? How often do you hear someone accept responsibility for their own mistakes? How often?

I am conservative. I am worried about the future of the country and the planet, especially if O-BOMB-A or Billary Clinton make it to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. I will start posting my fears, my hopes, my ideas as they all relate to news and politics. I hope to open some eyes and change some opinions with my writings. Most of all, I hope you will read my words and be inspired to find the truth...and not rely on Chris Matthews or Keith Olberman or Katie Couric or Matt Lauer for your opinions. I hope you will break the mold and do something unreal...unexpected...do something that O-BOMB-A and Billary are afraid of you doing...
