For over a year, during his coronation to the White House, Barack Obama was bulletproof and covered in military-grade Teflon. Nothing hurt him and nothing stuck to him.
He is friends with a white domestic terrorist. It was racist to question that alliance, despite the fact that this terrorist wishes more US buildings (like the family home of a NYC cop) had gone up in smoke. Obama and he worked together on several different community boards. Obama was introduced as the successor to his eventually seat in the State senate in the living room of this terrorist.
No one cared. He talked really well.
His pastor of over 20 years, the man who baptised Obama's children, is a blatant racist and consistently speaks against America. This pastor even sells copies of his Anti-American rants in the very lobby of the church Obama attended for two decades. I think this is a valid concern. I don't want a President that hates America, or even condones a man of faith speaking so hostility toward my nation.
Yet, I am accused of being a racist for asking questions. Obama is the chosen one, how dare I question him!
Obama has close business ties to a convicted criminal now serving jail time. No one cares about this allegiance. I am so full of hate to ask about criminal connections to my President. The nerve it takes for me to doubt the savior of our times.
So, fine, Obama gets elected despite more than half of the living American voting public disagrees with him on everything. (He did get the unanimous dead vote...not to mention 300% of the homeless vote, 115% of the cartoon/Disney/Muppet vote, and the fact that Archie Bunker, Forrest Gump, Frank Sinatra, Jean-Luc Piccard, James T. Kirk, Garth Algar, and Wayne Campbell all voted enthusiastically for Obama, thanks to ACORN's voter registration techniques.)
Within his first two weeks in office, he crams down our throats two unprecedented spending bills, neither of which were read by anyone who was pressured to vote for them. He spent $2 Trillion in 2 weeks without batting an eye. The explanation was we needed stimulation or else we could see 9% or higher unemployment WITHOUT the emergency spending.
The bills passed. And, Obama was right. The massive spending did prevent a 9% unemployment rate. In fact, we are doing so much over and above that prediction. We are well on our way to double digits! And, the "emergency" money won't even be spent for another 18 months.
Let me explain this. You're house is on fire. I tell you that you HAVE to buy this really pricey insurance policy so that I can put out the fire. You HAVE TO buy this expensive fire extinguisher with the plan. You sign. Its an emergency! You give me the blank check. Now, its time to put out the fire! Right? No, not with the Obama administration. I promised to put out the fire, but the fire gets worse. I have the fire extinguishers on order. They were cheaper if I waited a few months. Your house is engulfed in flames, exactly what I promised the insurance policy you just signed without reading would prevent. I tell you that you owe more money to build a water slide in a different state. There are water fountains in California that need new filters. All coming out of your bank account. Your house is in ashes. The government comes and tells you, "Oh, we are so sorry. President Bush set the fire and we just cannot contain it. But hey, this is change you can believe in. Sign this contract to spend another $100K from your account. No no no, there is no time to read it. Oh, and expect your power bills to skyrocket. It is necessary. Oops! I almost forgot. Here is a fine from the EPA. Your house fire caused so much carbon dioxide to be put in the air, you need to pay this fine. Or call Al Gore and buy some of his trees."
That, pretty much, is what is happening. We are being financially raped by Obama. And despite the fact that we have hit the iceberg, the ship is taking on unbelievable amounts of water, and people are jumping overboard, there are still dumb sheep, being led to slaughter, who still support this guy.
All of the Right's worst fears are coming true. Obama owns the auto industry, the banking industry, and is squeezing out the heartbeat of the American economy, small business. Small businesses don't have Unions, and as such, don't contribute to Democrat party coffers, so they can all die slowly. Obama owns the banks, and the banks are refusing to prop up small businesses. He has his sights set firmly on the health care industry. He will destroy it, too.
Obama is destroying America. He is pulling the plug of the life-support machine on the American economy. He is killing our freedom day by day. And there are a lot of Americans that think they are okay with that.
If we don't wake up and realize what is happening, and do something about it in 2010, we could very well be doomed to complete collapse and a complete failure of America. We will be a third world country like North Korea. The upper class Democrats will suppress freedom, liberty, and all the genuinely American ideals to keep in power. You see what is going on in Iran? If we stay complacent and ignore what the government is doing to us, we will someday, within the next generation, face the same fate.
Please, wake up. Please do not let freedom and America die.

Change we have to put up with...
Robert Gibbs, the number one spokesman for the Obama Administration, the press secretary, says that Obama did not bow before the king of Saudi Arabia.
Watch this YouTube.com video and see for yourself...
So, Obama bows before the King of Saudi Arabia, the same king who holds our nation hostage with his oil because we just won't drill our own. The President of the United States of America bowed before the king of a nation who manipulates our economy by the amount of oil his country produces.
This is just another in a series of forehead-slapping moments that our "experience is not necessary" President has provided us, and the world, with in less than three months in office.
Let's take a stroll down less-than 90 days of memories since January 20, 2009.
Ah, yes, we started the new year with an emergency spending package to save the economy. Yet, more than half of the spending occurs AFTER the economic crisis is predicted to be OVER. That's the same as if you were in a sinking ship, and then mortgaged your house to pay for the fix after you've reached port...ignoring the fact that there is still a hole taking on water as you spent that money. If the money was needed on an emergency basis, why is it being spent in the months leading up to the mid-term elections...AHA!!!!!
Oh, and then the budget with defense spending cuts, yet it is nearly double the current budget.
And let us not forget Obama's tact, statesmanship, class, and historic gifts he has bestowed upon heads of state. Instead of reading my personal opinion, please read the words of Ian Drury, writer for the Daily Mail, a UK newspaper. The article is entitled "To my special friend Gordon, 25 DVDs: Obama gives Brown a set of classic movies. Let's hope he likes the Wizard of Oz."
Ian Drury's piece...
Wow! What a statesman. What a brilliant gift-giver. What a leader!
Oh, and then he does even better with his gift to the Queen of England.
He gives her an IPOD loaded with showtunes and pictures of herself on her visit to America.
And, then he bows to the King of Saudi Arabia, then his mouthpieces Robert Gibbs and MSNBC, say he was bending due to the height difference. Nice attempt at spin. Too bad the video shows differently.
Obama is a joke. He cannot speak without a teleprompter. If he does, he makes insulting comments like he did on the Tonight Show, where he insulted the bowling abilities of children in the Special Olympics. Yes, our President made fun of his own bowling ability by making light of the difficulties children in the Special Olympics deal with.
Wow. Classssssss-eeeee!!!!
Oh, and I love the fact that my grand children will be giving half their paychecks to pay down the debt we have incurred in only the last 80-some-odd days. Washington through Bush (43) totalled up less debt and deficit in the 230 years of this nation's history than Obama has in less than 3 months. We went over two centuries with less debt than we have amassed in 2 months.
And, Obama still writes checks on American tax payers with wreckless abandon.
Instead of relying on the abilities of Washington, DC, area chefs, knowing full well that White House chefs are among the best in the world, Obama spends tax-payer money to fly in a PIZZA chef from St. Louis, ingredients, dough, and utensils in tow, to the White House for a casual luncheon with over 140 people. He flew a PIZZA chef, staff, and business partners, along with the ingredients, from St. Louis to DC for a lunch. All on your and my tax dollars.
Not to mention the almost daily extravagant balls and parties and dinners the Obamas host in the White House, or in Chicago, to impress their 'friends' and co-horts.
All at our expense.
Meanwhile, they tease us and stir us up to get mad at AIG execs getting their contractually obligated bonuses. (No one dare tell you that the AIG execs who recieved the bonuses are in different divisions than those responsible for the failed portions of the company...oh, Keith Olberman didn't tell you?)
I am counting the days until November 6, 2012, when we can get back to normal. When we can get some class, honesty, decency, and leadership in the White House.

Ian Drury's piece...
As he headed back home from Washington, Gordon Brown must have rummaged through his party bag with disappointment.
Because all he got was a set of DVDs. Barack Obama, the leader of the world's richest country, gave the Prime Minister a box set of 25 classic American films - a gift about as exciting as a pair of socks.
Mr Brown is not thought to be a film buff, and his reaction to the box set is unknown. But it didn't really compare to the thoughtful presents he had brought along with him.
The Prime Minister gave Mr Obama an ornamental pen holder made from the timbers of the Victorian anti-slave ship HMS Gannet.
The unique present delighted Mr Obama because oak from the Gannet's sister ship, HMS Resolute, was carved to make a desk that has sat in the Oval Office in the White House since 1880.
Mr Brown also handed over a framed commission for HMS Resolute and a first edition of the seven-volume biography of Churchill by Sir Martin Gilbert.
In addition, Mr Brown and his wife showered gifts on the Obama children giving Sasha and Malia an outfit each from Topshop and six children's books by British authors which are shortly to be published in America.
In return, the Obamas gave the Browns two models of the presidential helicopter, Marine One, to take home to sons Fraser and John.
Wow! What a statesman. What a brilliant gift-giver. What a leader!

Sports and Society
When I was just becoming aware and a real fan of sports, I was about 9 years old. I had always been a fan, but never really got truly interested in sports until my family moved to Virginia.
We moved to Pocahontas, Virginia, from Lemont, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago. I was 7 when we moved. For the first 7 years of my life, I lacked a real interest in sports. Thus, I did not realize what I was losing in the move south of the Mason-Dixon line. Moving south, I did not miss the fact that I had never been to Chicago Stadium or Wrigley or Comiskey or Soldier Field.
In between the time I moved south and have returned to the north, so much has changed. Old Comiskey is gone, Comiskey is completely gone, replaced by the name of US Cellular Field, which perplexes the mind. Comiskey is a legendary name. How could it have been replaced? Old Chicago Stadium is long gone, replaced by the marketing mecca United Center, The House that Michael Built. Oh, and Soldier Field was changed from a legendary, mythical, beautiful piece of history and architecture into a UFO.
Tonight, popped in one of the discs from my DVD set from the NBA Dynasty Series, "Chicago Bulls: The 1990's." It educated me on a lot about sports, American society, and the world at large.
This June, when either the Orlando Magic or the Cleveland Cavaliers hoist the Larry O'Brien trophy and are crowned NBA Champions, it will be a full 11 years since the end of an era; the end of the Bulls' Dynasty; the end of truly great TEAMS.
Yes, in the past 11 years there has been some high points, some excitement, and some good teams, but there is nothing close to the magic of what the 1990's brought.
Sports, and the world, has changed so much in the last 11 years. I have been trying to put my finger on the actual reasons, as well as what exactly was in fact different. You watch NBA, NFL, or MLB games today, then you look back 11 years, and there is something different.
It is hard to put a label on what it is exactly, but you see it. You know you are watching terrific athletes and good teams. You get excited, but you still don't feel the same as you did in the 1990s, and earlier.
For me, the difference exists in the persona and passion of the athletes. If you watch the teams of the 90s, there was unbridled passion for the game at hand. Wins and losses determined emotional highs or lows for everyone in the stands, on the sidelines, and in uniform.
The 1994 MLB strike, the 1999 NBA lock-out, and all the outrageous contracts that have been signed in the last 11 years has diminished the games we love. We no longer connect with the athletes we once did. As a result, we don't have that unequivocal sanctuary to immerse ourselves and separate ourselves from the pressures, pains, and stresses of the real world.
Whether it is in coalition with sports, a result of sports, or merely a mirrored coincidence, our society has shifted the last decade plus. We all have become greedier, less passionate about what is important in life.
We are only passionate about our differences. We love to be right. We love to be better. We love for the other guy to fail, to lose, to fall flat on his face.
We had one, brief, day of unity in the aftermath of 9-11, but the vitriol and disdain we Americans have for each other sprouted right back out.
As I watched the DVD and recalled the memories of 1996-1998, when Michael Jordan and the Bulls made history, made the world exciting, I longed for the time when we had that escape. Back then athletes did well financially, but weren't taking home more a year than many European nations. I longed for a time when athletes dressed with class because they had class, and not because David Stern ordered them to have class.
I miss the passion players played with. I miss the passion that we fans could exude onto the players because we were in the battle with them. They wore their uniform with pride and their livelihood depended on our support. We weren't sheep blindly following and feeding their large wallets, but we were almost as important as the ball, nets, and their teammates to their successes.
Now, in sports, and society, we are, in large part, dedicated to only get what is ours. We jump ship at the first signs of trouble. We don't man up and fix issues. We run from them. We create havoc until we get what we want. We whine because we lost a few thousand dollars, but still have food and TV. We call a severe drop in the stock market a depression, not taking time to realize that despite the struggles, we are really okay. We are hurting, but its a deep tissue bruise, not a broken bone or a devastating illness. We are not on the verge of a fatality.
Yet, no one is willing to be a part of the solution. We, as a nation, think that rich people and the Government are the sole source of our security. We have, like so many athletes, gone from being part of the team trying for one goal, to being part of a glob of people with their hands out, waiting for the blank check from on high.
I am 27 years old, and I have lost so much faith in the world, in people, and in the people in charge in the last 11 years. I miss the times when all we had to worry about was the Russians. I miss the hard-working, play-through-the-pain-or-flu athletes and Americans. I miss American Pride.
Will we ever become proud of America and truly love America again? Sadly, that question will not be answered until sometime in late 2012...

You Are Not Alone...the 9.12 Project
In case you have forgotten, or are too young to remember (like many of the kids I work with), America was dealt a deadly, sickening, blow on September 11, 2001. After America, as a nation, dropped to one knee under the pressure of the grief and shock of the attack, America rose.
We, as a nation, as one, stood up, wiped a tear from our cheek, dusted ourselves off, and grabbed a shovel. We dug out the bodies of the murdered masses. We dug graves for the lost. We mourned through resolve.
We, for one shining moment, became "one nation under God." We became the UNITED States of America.
In the months following the tragedy, many of our bravest and brightest put down the shovel and grabbed a gun. They went to war to keep this kind of act from recurring on our soil ever again.
As the war was taken abroad, and the terrorists struck out time after time here in America, the complacency and politcal vitriol grew back, and we once again became divided.
Many of us have forgotten what it means to be the UNITED States. We let the liars, cheats, and outright scum in Washington, DC, keep us divided. We have politicians race-baiting us all the time. There is a constant class-warfare being thrust upon us. All the while, the people WE hire to run the government are laughing all the way to the bank with kickbacks and lobbyist dollars.
We...yes, WE, the everyday, average citizenry of America own and run this country. Not Congress. Not the White House. Not the Senate or House of Representatives. We, the American public, own and run this country.
Sadly, we have let our ownership and power be usurped by divisionist politicians and power-hungry manipulators.
More importantly, we have let their words and misdeeds and mismanagement of our tax dollars let us become divided...divided more deeply than we have been since the Civil War.
However, watching Fox News Channel, I saw a light at the end of the tunnel.
The 9.12 Project.
Started and championed by commentator Glenn Beck, this movement is designed to inspire Americans to once again Unite, and recreate the love, passion, and support of our nation that we held so dearly on 9/12/01.
The movement is based on 9 Principles and 12 Values that define what it means to be a true, great American.
I encourage you to visit the website, The912Project.com , read the 9 Principles and 12 Values, and think for yourself. What can I do differently to encourage this country to become the UNITED States of America?
What can you do to bring America together?
America is on a rough path right now. It is up to us to right the ship.
Are you on board? Will you join the movement? Will you join the 9.12 Project?
If you do feel that America is a good, not perfect, but good, country, this is your website. This is the time.
You are not alone.

Where is Ronald Reagan? We need him more than ever...
Traversing the expansive volumes of videos uploaded on YouTube.com, I decided to see what the libraries had to offer in regards to a man that, in my opinion, and that of many Conservatives, served his country with more class, nobility, passion, and love of country than any other President in history.
I am talking of one Ronald Wilson Reagan.
The former actor turned Governor of California turned American Icon and President.
Conservatives didn't use slanted media propaganda to elect Reagan. Americans did not turn onto supposed journalists to hear them claim to have "tingly" feelings going up his leg when the name of the man was mentioned. We did not need our President to go and have a Beatle-mania reception in Germany for him to seem just popular enough to elect.
President Ronald Reagan depended only on his desire to serve. He wore his heart on his sleeve, and that heart bled red, white, and blue. Reagan loved his country and his greatest desire, other than spending his life with the only being he loved more than America, and a near tie with God Almighty Himself, Nancy, was to leave America better than he and his generation found it.
Reagan spoke with a pure, unadulterated love; a deep, inspiring love of country. His word were his own, mostly, definitely more than most presidents. He did not use his position and podium to bash, attack, or smear political adversaries. He simply spoke of the American dream, the future of the country, and the betterment of America and Americans.
We don't get that today. We haven't had that for a while. President George W. Bush was a let down in that regard in his lame duck years. He drifted left at the end, seemingly beaten down by political adversaries that attacked relentlessly everything he did for 6 1/2 years. If he sneezed, it was too loud. He coughed, the didn't properly use and dispose of a tissue. He spent less than $10 million on putting together his second inaugural, and he was brutally assaulted for wastine money (although Obama didn't really get much grief for his $150 million bash....hmmm).
President Barack Obama does not speak a positive word in the way Reagan did. Obama, who usually speaks negatively about anything and everything nowadays, does speak of hope and change, but he does not love his country the way Reagan did. President Clinton was the same way. When Democrats speak about America, they do not have the same emotionally-charged, deep-seeded, heart-breaking love and adoration of our country.
Please watch this video that I borrowed from YouTube.com. Listen and watch the eyes of President Reagan, and then ask yourself if you can match that enthusiasm and love for America. Can you?
Did you cry for the people on 9-11? Did you bounce between anger, rage, and uncontrollable sobbing for the people and for the fact that your country...your home...was just sucker-punched? Did you get pissed off that 3,000 of your American brothers and sisters were murdered?
Are you still pissed off about 9-11?
Are you pissed that Russia and Germany not loyally supporting our War on Terror, despite the billions in aide they recieve?
Are you heart-broken over the shape our country has taken?
Are you upset that judicial activism is ursurping the powers of the Executive and Legislative branches? That the Supreme Court has manipulated and successfully destroyed the functionality of the Checks and Balances?
Do you love America? Do you love freedom? Do you believe in the innate goodness of the American spirit and people?
If you have doubts, watch this video. Watch more Reagan YouTube.com videos. See if you are inspired. If you open your mind and heart, I am sure you will.

Glenn Beck: Unelectable
Okay, this blog is not going to rail against the morons, I mean anyone who is trying to support the new administration, but instead, I am offering some hope.
Real hope.
For years, there was one shining light coming from CNN headquarters via CNN Headline News. That shining light was the one voice of reason that did not fall in line with the liberal idiocy and hypocracy. This shining light is now the 5pm show on Fox News Channel...His name: GLENN BECK.
My life's schedule prevents me from seeing his broadcasts on FNC. I wish I had been more familiar with him while he was at Headline News.
I write about him tonight because of the inspiration he has just provided me. Let me explain.
Recently, due to the irregular schedule of my job as a Family Teacher (NOT HOUSE PARENT! [That's a joke...hopefully fellow FTs appreciate it]), I decided to join Netflix. In my hours of searching Netflix's vast library, the website's suggestion features showed me a DVD created during the travesty of an election season we just had in 2008. The DVD is entitled Glenn Beck: UNELECTABLE.
Beck's passion and sheer, unadulterated, unquestionable love of country inspired me. He loves this country. He loves God. He believes in both.
In today's world, people do not talk with the passion and emotion that Beck presents on the stage in this DVD. People do not express the deep-rooted love of God and country that Beck does in this DVD.
I love Rush, Hannity, Mark Levin, and so many others on our side, but when they talk about their love of country, it doesn't carry the same depth. This is not to say they love America any less, or that Beck is so much better, but I am merely pointing out that I am inspired by this man.
Beck's take on America and politics and politicians is humorous, engaging, and though-provoking. If you have the slightest sliver of pride and love and respect for this country, this DVD will leave you elevated.
I am 27 years old. I am the son of a Vietnam Vet. I have walked the streets of two of the greatest cities God gave man: New York City and, my original and current city, Chicago. I have seen, in just under my 3 decades on earth, Americans lose themselves. I have seen the pride, love, and passion for our country and freedom get eroded and washed away. I have seen my peers never develop a proud, American core within themselves.
Most American parents have failed their children and their country by not nurturing that American pride in the last two generations.
Our media has betrayed and failed out country with their coverage of the last 5 presidencies. From their disrespectful attacks on Ronald Reagan to their unfailing love and support of the criminal Bill Clinton, then their unrelenting attacks and insults and disrespect to George W. Bush to their praise, support, and adoration of Barack Obama, they have consistently taught Americans all the wrong things about how to be a country of strength, independence, intelligence, and pride. The media has helped destroy our American Pride.
Our public schools, whose policies and curriculum are primarily devised by Democratic-minded, liberal-leaning beauracrats and not people within the education system, and certainly not by conservatives who have pride in America. Our kids are bieng indoctrinated to ignore their country's greatness and only focus on her imagined faults, meanwhile praising and envying the cultures of other nations while completely ignoring the human rights violations, violence, and lack-of-freedoms those cultures have. (Imagine walking around in China and carrying a poster that spoke ill of the current regime in charge...how many bullets would pierce your body before you hit the ground?)
I encourage all Americans to listen to Glenn's speech in this DVD. I hope that you will consider trying to instill a higher sense of pride, love, and adoration for America in those people around you.
Have you read the entire US Constitution?
Have you read the entire Declaration of Independence?
Our biggest problem in this tough economic time is that we have lost a sense of what makes America America. We no longer look at the stars and stripes with a prideful heart and an inner peace. We no longer remember on a daily basis that thousands upon thousands of men, women, and children have fought and died to give us the rights we abuse and take for granted.
We abuse our rights. We are "endowed by our creator with certain inalienable rights: life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness." We are not guarenteed happiness. We do not have a RIGHT to tax-payer-funded housing, health care, or anything else. We have the right to live, to live free, and to spend that free life pursuing happiness...we do not have the right to get there. We have the right to attempt to get there. But, we forget that. We tend to stick out our hand and expect people to give us what most people used to work for.
Watch the DVD. Start reinforcing your love of America. If we all step back, look around, take a deep breath, and fall in love with our country all over again...if we do that...if we give up a piece of ourselves and love America...I truly believe that we can figure out how to get our country going forward again. I believe we can be successful and leave this country in better shape than when we found it.
Real hope.

What WE have to do...
The fact of the matter is, the nation is divided.
Over the last 6 years, since Democrats stopped being pro-American and being pro-Democrat, the liberals in the media and in elected office have been attacking American unity. They were courteous enough to shut up for a few months post-9/11, but then they saw opportunity.
They saw a chance to seize power by attacking every policy of the Bush anti-terrorism initiative. They attacked out troops. They accused American troops of torture, murdering civilians, pillaging villages, and generally being poor-class and fighting dirty. Our fighting men and women have been attacked, insulted, berated, and accused of unthinkable war crimes....BY OUR OWN CONGRESS AND LEADERS!
It is sad that our enemies have used the words of our own elected officials as recruiting materials and as anti-American propaganda. Our troops are entering greater and greater danger in Afghanistan, as they were in Iraq pre-McCain-supported troop surge, because of the propaganda provided by AMERICAN DEMOCRATS.
Remember, post-Vietnam, NO CONSERVATIVE...NO REPUBLICAN...stood in lines to spit on and attack our troops returning from war. No CONSERVATIVE has ever given anti-American fodder for the recruiting propaganda of terrorist enemies.
So, since early 2002, less than half a year since the worst attack on American soil, DEMOCRATS have been attacking everything in sight to divide the country and fortify that division. The sides are almost irreparably divided; in fact scarily so.
The point being, there is nearly zero chance that we can change the minds of the Obama-maniacs who drank the kool-aid served by the media and Obama himself. We cannot get liberals or Democrats to drop their blind love and devotion to Obama. It is not going to happen.
So, how do we keep the White House and, possibly, reverse the growing liberal power in Congress?
VOTE.
We, the American conservatives, we must VOTE.
VOTE!
Tell people who and why we are voting for.
We must VOTE!
The media is spinning the early voter turnout as a trend for an Obama slaughter of McCain. They are popping champaign in the offices of NBC and CNN, already claiming Democrat victory and a new Super Majority in Washington, DC.
We have to show them how wrong they are. America is an overall conservative nation. We have to get our conservative majority motivated and out to the polls.
Whether we win or lose, we have to go down with a fight. We have to go down swinging, if it is in the cards for ACORN's tactics to win, we cannot sit idly by and guarentee a default victory for Obama.
We need to vote. Make our voices heard! We need to fight until the end of voting.
In the words of the immortal Coach Jim Valvano, "Never give up. Don't ever give up"
If you can get motivated, and motivate more conservative-minded people to show up and vote, at the end of the day, we might just suprise the liberals celebrating Obama's victory already.

Victory is within our grasp...and they cannot stand it!
Oprah, MSNBC, The New York Times, John Stewart, MTV, and anyone else who does not work at Fox News are all flustered over the new look of the campaign.
Barack Hussein Obama is spending his campaign time and money trying to attack the VICE Presidential Candidate from the other ticket. He is not focused on John McCain, but Sarah Palin.
Where is Joe Biden?
It's like the left wing media and all the crazy kool-aid drinkers in the Obama campaign (Actually, that is all one-in-the-same..) are pitting the lone gun Obama versus McCain and Palin. Biden does no factor in the match up at all right now.
Sarah Palin has changed the campaign, the Republican party, and our country. She is a woman of integrity, small-town values, work ethic, and family. She is the epitome of what the women's movement CLAIMED to be about, yet the so-called leaders of the women's movement are attacking Palin as well.
America is starting to wake up and smell the cow droppings. The country is starting to see how the media operates. We all see that true journalism is dead, with the exception of Bill O'Reilly, of course.
The democrats have given up on running on issues. They are running on the new platform of "Sarah Palin is bad news! We can prove it once we find the dirt!"
They attempted to destroy her family and drag a non-public figure into the muck. Oh, yeah, and that non-public figure is a 17-year-old girl dealing with the pressures of adolecence as well as an unplanned pregnancy. They could not beat Sarah Palin, a 44-year-old Governor, so they attempted to destroy Bristol Palin, a teenager.
Oprah is very disappointing, yet, at the same time, not a surprise. Oprah risked her reputation by becoming very supportive and vocal for Barack Obama. She allowed him two appearances on her show. The claim is that it was before he announced that he was going to run for President, but anyone with half a brain knew that the appearances on Oprah were to make him more of a household name for when he would announce.
So, Oprah denies Sarah Palin, a family and career woman, the brightest example of the success of feminism in the last 10 years, the chance to introduce herself to millions of women just like her. The interview could be geared away from politics and simply allow the world to meet Sarah Palin. Instead, Oprah took a weak way out of it and refuses to allow Sarah Palin the appearance until after the election.
Rush Limbaugh said it, and this is not a racist or biggoted statement. It is merely an observation. I agree with the assessment, and think it is worth mentioning. Oprah has obviously and publicly chosen her race over her gender. For nearly 30 years she has made billions of dollars by acting as a woman's woman, a leader for women everywhere. Her entire career is built on her being a proponent of women's issues. Her race never mattered because she was a woman who transcended all barriers. Yet, in the one time she gets involved in politics, she chooses her race over her gender in not bringing in Sarah Palin.
So, the attacks against Palin will continue for 60 days or so. She will be attacked and questioned harder and more unfairly than you can imagine...certainly with more viciousness and intensity than Barack Obama has eve faced. And she will do it with her shoulders and head held high, and a smile on her face.
On November 4, 2008, I will proudly cast my vote for McCain-Palin. Their campaign is one of issues and solutions. The others are on a campaign of character assassination, empty promises, and naieve wishes.

When in the Course of human events...
How many of you knew, before making the connection with today's date and the nature of my blogging, that these words began the Declaration of Independence?
How many of you know what the Declaration of Independence REALLY means?
On July 4, 1776, a group of men called the Second Continental Congress adopted this document. This document was a dissolving of the political and governmental ties to the state of Great Britain. While it was adopted on July 4, 1776, and essentially gave birth to the United States of America, only John Hancock, the elected President of Congress, signed the declaration on this day. (Thank you to Wikipedia for the information. View the entire Declaration of Independence as well as the history of the document at Wikipedia here .)
July 4, is celebrated as America's birthday. It is the symbolic date in which the world forever changed. It is the date upon which the last semblance of the British Empire was erased due to the unfair taxes and practices of the King of England. Some of the information I read at the above Wikipedia link was old hat, old news that I had heard during my liberally-biased education in elementary and high school history and civics classes.
However, those old facts and the new facts I had not learned all came together, along with something I had heard on the radio the other day. Sean Hannity, as well as several other conservative radio hosts I listen to, play clips of President Ronald Reagan's speeches from time to time, courtesy of the Heritage Foundation.
In this particular instance, the late, great President Reagan is talking about how America's traditions and power are eroding because of a lack of understanding by current generations. America, the America that Reagan still envisioned and loved, the America that the parents of the baby boomers fought and suffered and died for without regret or reservation, is falling further and further into the past. It eroding and fading away.
I have come to a conclusion based on my Wikipedia reading, and the inspirational words of President Reagan. Today, the day we celebrate America's birth, freedom, and independence, we need to sit down during the weekend and revisit our history.
The generations that are running the world today have lost touch with the realities of what made America great. We have lost our identity and pride. American pride is washing away into the oceans of guilt, regret and self-loathing, as brought on by the bleeding hearts on TV.
Why are there liberals who project a feeling of guilt when it comes to our freedoms, prosperity, and success? Why do we have Americans who hold disdain for their own country due to the very freedoms that allow them the right to publicly hold and display that disdain?
We need to revisit the sacrifices of the men, women, and children of the wars in which America has fought. From the French and Indian War to the Revolutionary War to the War of 1812 to the Civil War to the two World Wars to the Cold War to Korea to Vietnam to the two Persian Gulf Wars, Americans take for granted the sacrifices and pride taken in those sacrifices.
Do we really, truly know what it means to be an American? Do you know what John Hancock and the Second Continental Congress was trying to accomplish with the Declaration of Independence? Do you know what the Bill of Rights really means?
More importantly, are you proud to be an American? Are you thankful to God to be living here? If not, perhaps President Reagan was right. Perhaps you desperately need to relearn and comprehend your country's rich history, and redevelop your pride and appreciation for this great land.
As I conclude this July 4th blog, let me add a deep, heartfelt thank you to the following people for their sacrifices, sometimes unintentional and unwilling, that made America the greatest country in the history of man kind. I say that this is the greatest without reservation, shame, embarrassment, or any negativity of any kind. I say it because it is fact. America is the greatest country, EVER.
Thank you for making the blog and country possible:
-Current and past members of the Armed Forces.
-The wives, widows, and orphans of Armed Forces personnel, past and present.
-The victims and the families of those lost in the attacks on 9-11-01
-The victims and families of the attacks on the American Embassies in the 1980's and 1990's
-The men and women in uniform for the nation's police, fire, and rescue units.
-Men and women like Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Ann Coulter, Laura Ingram, and the countless others who love their country and make no mistake about their American Pride.
-The men and women and children who constantly pray for the safety and return home of our soldiers in harm's way.
-The leaders in the Second Continental Congress who took the bold initiative to Declare our independence from the tyrant British leadership in 1776.
-The tireless and endless support of our allies in Britain, Poland, Australia, Israel, and the many other countries who have been by America's side since 9/11.
Thank you to the groups I mentioned above, and millions of other people who have given me the opportunity to live in the freedom and greatness of America.
Happy Birthday, America! God bless us all!

God Bless America this Memorial Day
What a beautiful day. The sun is shining. The birds are chirping. The sun is high in the sky, warming the world.
It is gorgeous out today.
While I enjoy the gentle breeze passing through, and admire the robins, cardinals, and other birds flying through the air, there is something I notice. There is something I realize.
I realize, and appreciate, that I am standing in Wytheville. I am in the Commonwealth state of Virginia. Therefore, I am standing safely within the borders of the greatest country God ever blessed with sovereignty.
I am, of course, referring to the most generous, decent, caring, forgiving, and strongest nation in the world today. The lone superpower left on the globe. The world leader.
The United States of America.
How did we get here, to Memorial Day 2008?
How did America become and remain so strong?
For over 250 years we have enlisted the most intelligent, decent, honest, prideful, respectable military personnel in the world. We have the brightest and the bravest wearing an American flag on their shoulder, and have had them for two and a half centuries. Our soldiers fight with honor, bravery, care, respect, and integrity. Our military strives to ensure the safety of the innocent while prosecuting the guilty. Our men and women in uniform are the best.
So, today, if you are working or if you are off for the three-day weekend, take some time to pray for the safety of our military. They give up so much for us to be free to stand on a small grassy knoll, take in a deep breath, enjoy the warmth of the sun, and not feel fear to walk outside. They give up so much for us, let us take today to thank God for them.
Please pray for God to continue to bless our soldiers with strength, intelligence, mercy, decency, proper judgement, and, most importantly, a safe return home after a successful mission.
God bless the United State of America. God bless its military for their decency and integrity. Thank God for all of our freedoms.
Happy Memorial Day!

From D.C. to Baghdad: LET FREEDOM RING!
Free at last, free at last, good God, Almighty, we are free at last!
I am not sure how to translate that into Arabic, but that is the thought and sentiment being shared in Iraq this day. Martin Luther King, Jr., may have meant a different freedom in a different time, but I feel that there are about 20 million Iraqi people who are feeling, if not saying, very similar sentiments today.
Despite the whinings and defeatist ideas from the left, the Iraqis reported to have their fingers dyed and voted cast in the third...yes, count 'em, three!...FREE elections today.
In less than 12 months, Iraq has held its third consecutive successful election. With their fingers dyed purple, the Iraqi people bravely took to the polls, risking life and limb, to vote.(Sadly, some of us won't risk getting wet because it is raining on election day.) However, the people of Iraq are just over 2 years removed from the complete removal of Saddam and his terrorist regime, and they are in the middle of a successful development of a free, democratic republic. Thank you, troops, for making the world safer for not only these Iraqis, but us as well.
Thank you to our troops, the troops of the coalition, the brave leadership from the US White House and the Tony Blair administration.

Merry Christmas to our soldiers fighting overseas who won't be home to celebrate.
This blog typed in a color similar to that of the dye on the fingers of the Iraqi voters today to show my support.

Let freedom ring, Let the white dove sing
Let the whole world know that today is a day of reckoning!
Let the weak be strong, let the right be wrong!
Roll the stone away, let the guilty pay!
It's Independence Day!!

The Evilness of America...
America is the world's worst, most evil, greedy country.
Thats what the media would have you believe. But, let us look at two contrasts.
When the tsunami hit Asia, Americans were among the first to be on the ground in the relief effort. Within hours of the tragic event, President Bush pledged X amount of dollars of immediate help. How was this help received? "America is greedy, won't help anyone." Bush pledge more and more support, but our own media would not give him credit for the help. The international media went on a field day criticizing Bush and America for not doing enough and not doing it fast enough. We did more than any other country, any two countries combined, and it wasn't enough...it didn't come fast enough.
Fast forward to this week. Katrina destroys most of one state and parts of three others. Thousands may be dead. Power, homes, communications all destroyed and not to be replaced for weeks to come. Bush is again doing everything he can to help. But, my question is, where is the international effort? Where is Britain and France and the UN and NATO? Where is the outcry for other nations to help us in our time of need?
No, again, America is left to do it all. It is up to us to repair the world and repair our own home. No outside help. Nothing we do is enough.
I guess its the price we pay for being the greatest nation on earth.

Justice John Roberts Confirmation Battle
DING DING DING!!!
In this corner...standing 6 feet, from Buffalo, New York...with an incredible record and ample qualifications...the nominee for the vacant seat on the Supreme Court...Justice John G. Roberts, Junior! Junior!!
And in this corner...his opponents....the party of no platform...the party of obstruction...the party who wants judges to legislate from the bench....the challengers to every move George W. Bush makes...the undisputed losers of the 2000, 2002, and 2004 elections....the Democrat Liberals! Liberals!
Ladies and gentlemen...Are you rrrrrrrrrrrrready???? For the sake of the Constitution, and thousands of generations to come....LET'S GET READY TO FILIBUSTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well, I guess we do need Michael Buffer to get this thing started. Let me get this straight and catch everyone up.
Sandra Day O'Connor leaves the bench of the Supreme Court at the end of June. Within days, liberal groups like MoveOn.org and Planned Parenthood go into hyperactive, extra chocolate to a 4 year old mode. They are raising money to combat ANY nominee George Bush sends to slaughter...I mean, confirmation.
Special interest groups trying to influence a nomination for the Supreme Court with a grass roots campaign? WHAT?? Grass roots campaigns are efforts to get your guy (or gal) elected. If you fail, sorry, thanks for playing...what do we have for them Bob? The ELECTED president has the right, the power, to nominate whomever he chooses. That is the beauty and the spoils of running a clean campaign and letting personal and vicious attacks roll off you like water on a ducks back. Bush won...decisively...and the libbies refuse to accept it. Instead of recoiling and regrouping, they keep swinging like a drunk at an imaginary piňata.
The good news is, they are looking like total jackasses...especially with YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!! Howard Dean in charge.
The bad news is, a minority is holding up the progress of the ELECTED MAJORITY. So, while the 60 million who proudly cast the Red State votes are stuck in a stalemate, the liberals salivate over ever snag they can put into the agenda of GWB.
Back to topic...Judge John G. Roberts, Jr. We knew whomever Bush selected (with the exceptions of Bill or Hillary, Michael Moore, Howard Dean, Usama Bin Laden, Adolph Hitler, or Barbara Streisand) would be sliced and diced, pureed and whipped, and stuck in limbo as much as possible...the future of the country be dammed. We knew this just hours after O'Connor resigned.
We knew we were in for a struggle when Ted "HIC" Kennedy put down the whiskey long enough to tell us that he was going to make certain that O'Connor's replacement will fight for the rights of the individual and not take away people's rights. Ok, let me explain this.
LEGISLATORS fight for people's rights, for individual freedom...not justices. Justices apply the law to the constitution...apply circumstances to the Constitution. Justices are not supposed to determine policy and law from the bench...only the constitutionality of a law and how the law affects the people. Justices do not fight. They weigh. They weigh evidence, facts, expert opinions, and the word of law. Justices to not fight for people...Legislators do.
So, what the drunk lady killer is trying to admit to in his inebriated stupor is this: If we (the democrats) cannot win an election...we want our legislation done by the ladies and gentlemen in the black robes.
This is going to be a eventful couple of months. Roberts' résumé is spotless and impressive. His record in the courtroom is impeccable. If the democrats were a fair, reasonable bunch, the up or down vote would be done well in advance of October, when the Supreme Court reconvenes.
However, because the liberals hate Bush...hate his aggressive, positive agenda...and hate conservatives...the libbies are going to do everything possible to prevent a smoot, successful transition. Instead, fillibusters will be used. Delay and stall tactics will be used. Everything and anything they can do to slow Bush's second term, consider it done.
I wish the liberals would wake up and smell what their shoveling. I love what their doing because it hurts them in future elections.
I hate what their doing because they are damaging my country right now.

About Me...And This Blog Site...
My name is David A. Ebert, the oldest of two siblings produced by my parents, Leah and David G. Ebert. We are all Republicans, but I take it a toke or two...well, closer to 10 tokes...further than my parents,
I am very much a Right Wing Conservative. I am a Reagan Conservative. I believe Americans, in general, are smarter than elected officials in Washington, DC. We should be more in charge than the Government.
We, as individuals and families, should have more responsibility over our own, hard-earned money and not send more and more and more taxes to the out-of-touch politicians. I believe the government is there to serve us, and not us to serve them.
I believe in America's greatness and that, overall, we are the most generous, forgiving, intelligent, and genuinely decent country in the world. I also believe that we are the most powerful nation in the history of the world, but do not use that power to hold over the collective heads of other nations.
I believe that low taxes, intelligent spending of those tax revenues, strong initiatives on defense and education, and small government influence on the day-to-day lives of Americans are some of the most important ideals related to how the US should be operated.I believe in the freedoms granted by the US Constitution. I believe that judges should uphold and interpret the laws as written in the US Constitution, and not refer to any foreign legislation to make their historic decisions.
I believe the First Amendment, as well as the entire Bill of Rights, are the most important laws this world has ever seen.
I believe abortion is WRONG. I believe that homosexuality is WRONG. I believe that allowing anyone to publicly debate the possibility of lowering the age of consent, especially for young boys to consent to older men, is a tragedy of morality. I believe that organizations like NAMBLA should be publicly shunned and not given a platform to spew their harmful and dangerous rhetoric.
I believe there is a sad lacking in the ability of our nation to appreciate and accept self responsibility. We, as a nation, blame daddy, racism, sexism, classism, mommy, the mean teacher, the mean little league coach, the loud mouthed uncle, the financial status of the neighborhood in which we grew up in, and a million and one other reasons why we do not succeed. How often do we, as a nation, take the blame for our own mistakes? How often do you hear someone accept responsibility for their own mistakes? How often?
I am conservative. I am worried about the future of the country and the planet, especially if O-BOMB-A or Billary Clinton make it to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. I will start posting my fears, my hopes, my ideas as they all relate to news and politics. I hope to open some eyes and change some opinions with my writings. Most of all, I hope you will read my words and be inspired to find the truth...and not rely on Chris Matthews or Keith Olberman or Katie Couric or Matt Lauer for your opinions. I hope you will break the mold and do something unreal...unexpected...do something that O-BOMB-A and Billary are afraid of you doing...
