Watch Keith Olbermann use his post on MSNBC to spread his own version of hate, venom, and propaganda. MSNBC is the mouthpiece of left, liberal hate of conservatives.
Instead of covering it as a tragedy and addressing the true decency and heroics of the security guards, Olbermann uses this 6 minute segment to group all right wingers into the same group as the evil jerk that opened fire in the Holocaust Museum.
The evil dirt bag that opened fire is plain evil. He is called a terrorist several times by Olbermann, which is the only thing I agree with in the whole rant. However, the rant's purpose to is to lump all conservatives into the same category. I am aghast at the hypocrisy.
First, and most troubling, given our current plight thanks to the President that MSNBC (and Chris Matthews' tingling feelings in his legs) helped elect, is the fact that this guy, whose name I refuse to repeat in hopes that he is forgotten and not immortalized in print any more than necessary, is in fact a terrorist. A hate monger. A killer. An evil creature. Olbermann vilifies him, correctly. Where was this same scrutiny of William Ayers? Ayers did much the same type of domestic terrorism, yet MSNBC ignores that terrorist because they want to protect Barack Obama.
Ayers gets a pass because there was no right-wing ties. Without knowing who or what this Holocaust Museum shooter stood for, believed in, or who he allied with, he is automatically labeled right-wing.
Now, let's look at the coverage Olbermann gave the shooting of an American soldier on American soil by an American Muslim-convert.
...
...
...
Exactly.
No coverage. No denouncement. No attack on the killer of young kid who was fresh from boot camp. The kid hadn't hurt a soul. He gets gunned down by an evil, sick Muslim convert. Yet, nothing. (Not even the PRESIDENT, the COMMANDER in CHIEF denounced the killing of the soldier.)
This African-American Muslim is not even being called by his Muslim name. The media buries this story, yet you have irresponsible jokes for a commentator like Olbermann ranting and raving about a lunatic and putting all right wingers into the same group.
It's all part of a trend that is painfully obvious. People with a microphone or a computer with the power of major media outlets to promote their sludge (NY Times, Time, Newsweek, Playboy, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN) feel free to say or do whatever they want against conservatives.
Hate {sex} lists are okay. If we get upset with the idea that millions of people are going to see a list that details violent, hate-driven sex acts against women, its our fault because the intent was misunderstood. Violent, hate-driven acts, sexually or otherwise, are blatantly wrong. To promote them, tongue-in-cheek or otherwise, is morally decrepit.
Saying a Governor of a state looks like a "slutty flight attendant" is okay, as long as she is conservative. Saying her daughter, 14 years old, would probably get knocked-up by A-Rod is okay. The girl, though not a public figure herself, is the offspring of a conservative, so guilt by association. Sorry, Willow, because we hate your mom's ideals and principles and the fact that your mom married one man, is happy, has 5 kids, and a career, AND IS CONSERVATIVE, we are going to call you and your older sister a whore. And it is okay. If we get mad, its our fault for misunderstanding. (Letterman did apologize, but a week too late and not out of sincerity, but out of pressure.)
A US Soldier is gunned down by a hate-mongering Muslim in front of a crowded shopping center in Arkansas. We will bury that story behind the guinea pig in Rhode Island that recycles soda cans. No need to admit that the hate spewed by Democratic Congressmen and people like Olbermann might have inspired and further motivated the hate that led to the killing. Hell, it was just an American Soldier. We only care if they are killed in Iraq because we can blame it directly on George Bush. (I know I am not alone in that I noticed the giddy manner in which the networks had a countdown to the various 'milestones. Almost 1,000 dead! Almost!!! Almost 3,000!!!! Almost 4,000!!!)
Even the bowing-before-other-leaders, friends-to-unrepentant-terrorists, friend-and-business-associate-of-convicted-criminals-like-Rezko, spend-tax-dollars-like-a-spoiled-rich-girl-with-daddy's-stolen-credit-card, power-mongering, fear-mongering, but charismatic President Obama is directly pushing the hate. Throughout the campaign, he spent more time directly attacking Sean Hannity than giving details on how he was going to pay for his proposals. He continued his focus on attacking Fox News earlier today when, during an interview, he lamented on the fact that a "certain network" spends all day "attacking" his administration. He said you can watch all day and not see a positive story about Obama. Well, sad to say, originally crafted, the media and the press were designed to be an outlet to control the government by spreading the truth to the people. There is not, nor ever should be, a quota on positive stories about a President's administration. To suggest that a network should include positive stories means two things: he is for control of the media because he does not appreciate opposing voices, and that he, as the leader of the free world, spends a lot of time focusing on the media and what Fox News has to say. Shouldn't he be doing more important things?
Wait...perhaps he needs to watch MORE TV. Might keep him occupied so he cannot ruin any more of my country.
America....WAKE UP!
We are quickly entering into the development of the Orwellian society depicted in "1984." Big Brother is on its way. The government already runs the banks, the mortgage and loan industry, the car industry, and, coming soon to a socialist government near you, HEALTH CARE!.
WAKE UP!
2010 might be the last chance we have to save our nation.

No longer in the USA...Now the USS(R)A
Socialism...HERE WE COME!!!!
Corruption, poor judgement, poor character, and a genuine lack of leadership and foresight.
This, my friends, is the "Change we can believe in!"
So, let me get this straight.
Barry's new head honcho of the Treasury is Timothy Geithner. Geithner will be in charge of Obama's economic team and the US Treasury, which runs the Internal Revenue Service, the people who collect your taxes.
This despite the fact that Geithner is an admitted tax cheat.
Maybe you mess up once or even twice on your taxes. Maybe you miscalculate the amount owed. Maybe an audit catches your error. You work it out, pay your back-taxes and your penalties.
This guy, the new head of the Treasury and the IRS, made an 'honest' mistake for FOUR YEARS. A FOUR YEAR mistake. You or I make the mistake, we have to take out a loan, if we can, to pay off the penalties, let alone the interest and the actual principal of the taxes owed. This guy gets a big time job in charge of the same entity he failed to pay for 4 years. On top of it all, he had no intentions, as he admitted to Congress, to pay those taxes until he did, approximately one week prior to accepting the nomination.
Even the old KKK Klansman Robert C. Byrd admitted in a statement, "Had he not been nominated for treasury secretary, it's doubtful that he would have ever paid these taxes."
Not only this, but this guy has direct links to money that was doled out in the first half of the "Bailout" from October. And we know how well that has worked.
Yet he flies through confirmation quicker than the flush of a toilet...which is the general direction that this new Change is taking us.
How much corruption and greed and inappropriateness is this country going to overlook? Where is the outrage?
We freak out when an executive earns a large bonus in a company who's money is being spent irresponsibly. Yet no one panics when our elected officials waste billions upon billions of OUR dollars.
Where is the outrage over the mismanagement of our country?
Obama is surrounding himself with the epitome of corruption, poor leadership, poor ethics, and lack of caring for our country's future.
We have a corrupt tax evader in charge of the treasury...kind of like a pedophile as a kindergarten teacher...Joe Biden runs his gums about everyone's patriotic duty to pay higher taxes, yet his administration hires someone who evaded taxes for FOUR years. Does this mean that Geithner is not a patriot? By Biden's definition, appearantly Geithner is not a patriot.
Why is it only a few conservative/libertarian commentators and a relative handful of conservative bloggers notice a pattern to Obama's politics and allies?
Reverend Wright- Anti-American and racist, divisive comments from the pulpit.
Father Flager- Racist, sexist, and divisive comments from the same pulpit from which Wright preached and to which Obama listened to for 20 years.
Tony Rezko- He is in jail for his real estate dealings. He and Obama worked out a very questionable/odd real estate deal in Chicago. Property changed hands at below market values and switched back at forth between the two. Rezko and Obama worked together on Chicago projects for low income housing, all of which are failed, boarded up, and crumbling...millions of tax dollars wasting in inner city Chicago.
William Ayers- Obama lent his name and standing to write a blurb on the cover jacket of Ayers' book. Our President supported the work and writing of a terrorist who still propagandizes anti-American rhetoric, only now in the form of a Professor instead of terrorist leader. Process this thought: Obama endorsed a man who helped orchestrate domestic terrorism...So, Osama Bin Laden and Barack Hussein Obama have something in common: THEY BOTH HAVE CLOSELY WORKED WITH PEOPLE WHO HAVE ATTACKED AMERICANS! Think about that...
Rod Blagojevic- Rod and Barry campaigned for each other. Rohm Emmanuel has been an emmissary of Obama to speak with Blago about many things, including Obama's former Senate seat. Blago and Obama have spent time working together, and to the extent of their dealings related to the Senate seat, we may never know. However, if one looks at the kind of people Obama is friendly with, it is easy to speculate.
Timothy Geithner- For four years, this financial whiz kid FAILED TO PAY TAXES on his idependent contractor job with the International Monetary Fund, despite recieving numerous prompts from the IMF and the IRS to pay those taxes. Even staunch liberal "Big Daddy" Robert Byrd admits Geithner would not have paid these taxes had he not been tapped to lead the treasury. And now he is in charge of the IRS...no wonder he had to pay no penalties. Interesting...

100th POST!!!! Making the Case Against Barack Obama
Today, I will address the current ideals surrounding the state of affairs in the Presidential Election. I think that this election is very important, and I think far too many Americans are taking this very nonchalantly and not truly vetting their choice.
First thing I want to address is the accusation of negativity. Why is it that McCain's negative ads are all people remember? No one remembers that Obama attacks McCain, also, as much as possible. The fact is, there are no radical associations or dangerous decisions that McCain has made that would warrant an attack ad. Instead, people like Barbara Walters and Joy Behar on The View, people on CNN, MSNBC, and hundreds of "I am rich, so listen to my opinion as if it were the Gospel" Hollywood buffoons constantly hint at McCain's age as being a factor. MSNBC allowed an ad to run that attacked McCain's skin cancer scare of a few years ago. Democratic politicians come out and accuse McCain of being racist and comparing him to George Wallace.
Yet, only Sean Hannity and Rush Limbaugh and Bill O'Reilly condemn those attacks. Obama would not even distance himself from the comparisons made between McCain and Wallace. McCain gave Obama the chance at the last debate, but Obama decided, instead, as always, to point the finger at McCain and the right wing. Obama knows McCain is not racist, yet Obama refused to set the record straight. He refuses to go against his party.
Yet, McCain rips the mic away from a supporter for trying to insult Barack Obama and call him a Muslim...he grabbed the mic away and corrected her, on the spot, without pause. But Barack Obama cannot set the record straight on the racism allegations made by his own party's elected officials? And McCain is the negative one?
Now, the left wingers are having a field day with the cost of Sarah Palin's new campaign wardrobe. They scoff at it's estimated $150K price tag. They attack her as being a phony and an elitist. They say she is not in touch with the middle class as she says she is. They attack her for getting a new wardrobe for the campaign trail.
Has there ever been a question about how much Obama's or Biden's, or even McCain's, suits cost? Has there ever been a question about any other candidate's wardrobe costs? No.
This is a sexist attack by the left. Palin did not go shopping and send a bill to the RNC. The RNC bought the wardrobe for her. She is giving the wardrobe to charity once she is done with it.
How is the cost of a wardrobe for the campaign trail a viable issue for the election? If it can be used to smear a Republican, by gosh, its fair game!
As far as the attack ads coming from the Republicans, all McCain and the Right Wing have done is do what the media should...ask questions about Obama's history. If I had no risk of anyone looking into my past and fully vetting me out, I could say anything that people wanted to hear just to get elected.
My biggest problem with Obama are the holes in his history (he is the first modern-day candidate NOT to release his birth certificate...and we know nothing, cannot even find his senior thesis, about his college years other than the fact that he went there..), and the fact that time and time again, he has to distance himself or clarify himself where it relates to important people in his life, past and or present.
The Ayers questions are valid. Ayers' living room was the launch pad for Obama's political career. That is a FACT. Ayers may have been a terrorist when Obama was 8, but he still preaches, under the guise of college professor, much of the same anti-American and anti-government propaganda as he did then. In 2001, Ayers claimed in the New York Times that he and the Weather Underground had done more...eerily, the comments were published on 9-11-01. Obama wrote a blurb for Ayers' book. You don't put your name on someone else's work unless you trust them and know them...or are a complete naive buffoon...and, in either case, as it relates to a man who preaches the outrageous ideals Ayers preaches, it shows a lack of ability and readiness to lead a nation.
As for Reverend Wright, you cannot spend 20 years in the pews of a church with a pastor you do not agree with. You do not let a preacher who spews hatred and racism and anti-Americanism from the pulpit marry you and baptize your children, unless you somewhat agree with him.
Let me ask you this...
If John McCain had spent any significant time in the same room, even if it was a coincidental passing in a hotel lobby, as Tim McVeigh or Ted Kazynski (Una bomber), would he race be close today?
If John McCain had spent just 5 years in a church the featured a preacher who even once made reference to race, or to the fact that America's chickens where coming home to roost in reference to the 9-11 attacks, where would this Presidential race be?
If McCain had similar connections to radical ideals and thoughts like Obama does...would the race be nearly this close?
Next, why is everyone so bent on the idea that Sarah Palin is inexperienced and unqualified? She has executive experience, unlike any of the 3 men on the ballot. She has run a town and a state. She has had to make executive decisions that determine people's future. She has not been part of a decision-making body where your decisions get lost in the shuffle, like Congress. Besides, she is the second on the ticket...not the first.
If you want to talk about her inexperience, why, then is it unfair to question Obama's? I cannot remember whom of my respondents said it, but the idea that questioning what Obama has done and has not done was not constructive. Yet, questioning Palin, who has more experience as a leader than Obama, is fair game.
Obama's political career to the White House includes no major accomplishments, other than speaking well enough to get elected to a new office. He has not had a news-worthy battle for a bill or ideal. He has gone with his party without much resistance. He has only disagreed with George Bush...never has taken a stance against his own party. What has he really done to prove he is ready to lead from day one? He cannot even be a leader in his own party.
Obama does not have the experience or the mettle to lead from day one. Even his running mate said that the world knows that Obama is not ready...they are going to take advantage of Obama's inexperience. There will be a new crisis once Obama takes office...meaning that our enemies know he is not ready.
The question, then, is, who is going to get hurt because of this world-wide perception of Obama's weakness? Can we afford to find out?

Colin Powell...Is he confident in his endorsement?
This past Sunday, on "Meet the Press," General Colin Powell delivered an endorsement for Senator Barack Obama. His explanation for why he decided to support Obama came directly from the talking points of the Obama campaign.
First, when talking with Tom Brokaw on "Meet the Press," his main reason for support was the economy. A proven war General such as Powell gave his primary reason for endorsing Obama was Obama's message on the economy.
While I appreciate and respect General Powell, I have to question his judgement. What does he truly know about the economy? What about Obama's plan enticed him? Seriously, Obama has tossed out numbers that sound great in 5-second soundbites, but none of those numbers add up in a positive way for America.
Powell did talk to reporters on his way out of the studios after the endorsement. He further explained his position. He said that the negative aspect of the McCain campaign was also a factor. He claimed that the McCain campaign accused Obama of being a terrorist and a Muslim.
Whoa whoa whoa!
When did McCain's campaign call Obama a terrorist? He HAS in fact spent time working with a known domestic terrorist William Ayers. It is a FACT. Obama KNEW who Ayers was given that in a recent interview Obama said, "I assumed he had been rehabilitated."
Rehabilitated from what? Obama must have known how radical Ayers was, and still is today. On the morning of September 11, 2001, the papers that hit newstands just a few short hours before the world changed forever, included an interview with Ayers in which he said he WISHED HE HAD BOMBED MORE AMERICAN TARGETS. This was about the time that Obama was capitalizing on the political launching that Ayers helped facilitate.
There is a connection there that has not been fully vetted, only generalized and brushed off by Obama. However, at NO TIME has McCain, Sarah Palin, nor the campaign itself called Obama a terrorist. All they have done is simply question the judgement of a man who wants to lead the world. Is that so wrong?
Next, Obama is the only one who has brought up his name and heritage. The McCain campaign has NEVER brought into question Obama's name, his father's Muslim heritage, or his religion, period. Never. McCain grabbed the microphone from the hands of a lady who tried to bring it up at a recent rally. McCain has shown incredible respect and decency toward Obama.
Powell's reasoning has more holes than swiss cheese. It does not add up. I hope America will see through the smoke screen. Our troops overseas...our economy...our future cannot take the risk.

About Me...And This Blog Site...
My name is David A. Ebert, the oldest of two siblings produced by my parents, Leah and David G. Ebert. We are all Republicans, but I take it a toke or two...well, closer to 10 tokes...further than my parents,
I am very much a Right Wing Conservative. I am a Reagan Conservative. I believe Americans, in general, are smarter than elected officials in Washington, DC. We should be more in charge than the Government.
We, as individuals and families, should have more responsibility over our own, hard-earned money and not send more and more and more taxes to the out-of-touch politicians. I believe the government is there to serve us, and not us to serve them.
I believe in America's greatness and that, overall, we are the most generous, forgiving, intelligent, and genuinely decent country in the world. I also believe that we are the most powerful nation in the history of the world, but do not use that power to hold over the collective heads of other nations.
I believe that low taxes, intelligent spending of those tax revenues, strong initiatives on defense and education, and small government influence on the day-to-day lives of Americans are some of the most important ideals related to how the US should be operated.I believe in the freedoms granted by the US Constitution. I believe that judges should uphold and interpret the laws as written in the US Constitution, and not refer to any foreign legislation to make their historic decisions.
I believe the First Amendment, as well as the entire Bill of Rights, are the most important laws this world has ever seen.
I believe abortion is WRONG. I believe that homosexuality is WRONG. I believe that allowing anyone to publicly debate the possibility of lowering the age of consent, especially for young boys to consent to older men, is a tragedy of morality. I believe that organizations like NAMBLA should be publicly shunned and not given a platform to spew their harmful and dangerous rhetoric.
I believe there is a sad lacking in the ability of our nation to appreciate and accept self responsibility. We, as a nation, blame daddy, racism, sexism, classism, mommy, the mean teacher, the mean little league coach, the loud mouthed uncle, the financial status of the neighborhood in which we grew up in, and a million and one other reasons why we do not succeed. How often do we, as a nation, take the blame for our own mistakes? How often do you hear someone accept responsibility for their own mistakes? How often?
I am conservative. I am worried about the future of the country and the planet, especially if O-BOMB-A or Billary Clinton make it to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. I will start posting my fears, my hopes, my ideas as they all relate to news and politics. I hope to open some eyes and change some opinions with my writings. Most of all, I hope you will read my words and be inspired to find the truth...and not rely on Chris Matthews or Keith Olberman or Katie Couric or Matt Lauer for your opinions. I hope you will break the mold and do something unreal...unexpected...do something that O-BOMB-A and Billary are afraid of you doing...
THINK FOR YOURSELF.
