The Unfair Fight That Should Unify Conservatives, Women, and Mothers
On one side, you have the wife of a presidential candidate actively campaigning, speaking at rallies, and regularly sticking her foot in her mouth by making snide remarks about her country. This woman has called America a "mean" country. She said that the fact that her husband's ability to run for and win a party's nomination for president makes her "proud of [her] country" for the first time. She is an active member of the campaign. She is a campaign spokesperson. Yet, she is beyond reproach. Any questions about her are low-brow, below the belt, low class, and just plain wrong.
On the other side, you have a woman who has accepted the nomination to be her party's Vice President. Her family appears with her at times, but they do not speak. They are not involved in the campaign. They are her family, a separate part of her life. Her husband does not take the stump for her. Her children are not speaking at the national convention. Yet, all of the left-wing media, from the 5,000 failing NBC channels to CNN to ABC to MSN.com to Yahoo.com, all of them are attacking her family, the brunt of the attack focused on a teenage girl.
This campaign has gotten out of hand. I can deal with the media being so obviously biased for Barack Obama. I can live with their 10 times more favorable coverage of Hussein Obama. I can live with the rockstar-like coverage of his field trip to the middle east and Europe. I can even deal with the fact non of his left-wing media friends, and he has a lot, questioned his skipping out on meeting with injured troops in Germany. I can live with all the attacks against McCain or Sarah Palin. I can live with being called racist for not liking Obama, even though his ethnicity has no bearing whatsoever on my dislike.
However, I have a serious, serious problem with attacking a seventeen year-old girl. I have a serious issue with attacks against a teenager who has made a mistake that millions of teens have done, a mistake celebrated and encouraged by most people on the same side that are now attacking her. I have a serious problem with these irresponsible media folks attacking an innocent family for something that has zero bearing on the campaign.
It is just another sad example of how Obama is not qualified to be President. At no point in the 2008 election has Obama shown and outlined his qualifications. He cannot and will not run on the issues. He knows it. The democrats know it. The media knows it. So, they have to run attacks and smears like going after a pregnant teenager.
Pre-marital and unprotected sex are not things I endorse. I am sure Sarah Palin and her husband did not endorse nor encourage their 17-year-old to practice those type of things. However, she is a teen. Teens make mistakes. Teens think they know it all and do things they might later regret. It happens. Yet this teen and her family are united. They are supporting the teen who has opted to keep the baby. She plans to wed the father of the baby. There are far greater errors in judgement teens can make.
How low-brow is it to attack a family and embarrass, hurt, and psychologically scar a 17-year-old girl? How is this okay, yet to question Michelle Obama and her slightly anti-American comments a travesty of travesties?
How can you people sleep at night?
I like Sarah Palin. Her resume might be a little on the thin side, yet she has more executive, decision-making experience than Barack Obama. She has stuck her neck out an enabled change in a short time in the Governor's Office in Juneau, Alaska. She has a track record. She has a policy-based platform to run on as Vice President. She offers more qualifications and experience than Obama, who is running to be President. She is strong, smart, of high morals, and will bring change to Washington. She is a no-nonsense person who will fight for what is right, not what is popular.
She also offers the answer to many Hillary supporters. Those voters, especially many of the women voters, are upset that Obama is in and Hillary did not even get considered to be on the ticket as Vice President. Sarah Palin scares the Democrats. She, like McCain, cannot be defeated on issues.
So, what can they do?
Attack her 17-year-old daughter.
Way to go.

The Difference Between Liberal and Conservative and The Slant of the AP
On June 13, 2008, Tim Russert, a good, well-respected, hard-working, popular JOURNALIST died suddenly. It sent shockwaves throughout the world. Everyone who even remotely follows current events knew who Russert was, and, most likely, respected, if not liked, this JOURNALIST. (Journalist capitalized because Russert was one of the very few members of the NBC News bureau that was truly a Journalist and not a liberally-biased hack).
Russert's death was reported with humility, respect, and reverence. His memory and his legacy were upheld without equivocation. His life, work, family, and career were all celebrated and commended.
All of the mourning and celebration of Russert's life were well founded and appropriate. Russert did not let his political views determine his reporting. He reported down the middle and told the truth as best he could, in my opinion. He was truly one of the greats.
Fast-forward one month. Tony Snow, a likeable, hard-working, decent, honest man and JOURNALIST dies after a 4+ year battle with cancer. While Snow was not of the legendary status of Russert, Snow was a very accomplished journalist. He reported the news while in the media. As White House Press Secretary, he did not let the media bullies of the White House Press Corps intimidate him.
He was a fun, intelligent, strong man who did not take attacks as a journalist or Press Secretary to heart. He had a thick skin and a warm heart. He also had the will and backbone of legend. He fought to the end.
Yet, the AP uses their obituary to take pot-shots at Tony Snow. Instead of paying respects to the man, they question his integrity, intelligence, honesty, and ability to understand and report facts.
In the obituary, the 5th and 6th paragraphs come across as very snide and disrespectful to the man.
Snow was working for Fox News Channel and Fox News Radio when he replaced Scott McClellan as press secretary in May 2006 during a White House shake-up. Unlike McClellan, who came to define caution and bland delivery from the White House podium, Snow was never shy about playing to the cameras.
With a quick-from-the-lip repartee, broadcaster's good looks and a relentlessly bright outlook - if not always a command of the facts - he became a popular figure around the country to the delight of his White House bosses.
Cancer claims ex-Bush press secretary Tony Snow
by Douglass K. Daniel (AP Writer)
Playing to the cameras? He didn't have "a command of the facts?" The man is not yet buried and the AP uses their power as another way to cut down someone who has Conservative tendancies.
This truly defines Liberalism. They SAY they are compassionate. They SAY they care about people. They SAY they are the truely good people, while the mean, money-hungry conservatives are the jerks putting them out of work. They SAY they are for freedom and equality and freedom of speech, yet they cut down and attack everyone that has a different opinion or outlook.
The LA Times is just as bad. While their writers did not attack or question Snow, they certainly allowed their MODERATED comments board to fill with smut and trash and the type of vileness that has come to define the Democratic party.
Here is a link to Patterico's Pontifications a website that shows the types of comments allowed by the moderators, who pre-approve all posted comments. In addition, I have borrowed a couple below.
I hope the rest of these criminals die too. Good riddance to a person who contributed to making this world a worse place.

Its unfortunate he won’t be able to see the damage he helped inflict on this country and the world. I wonder how he likes hell.
Posted by: tedson | July 12, 2008 at 06:27 AM
There is special place in hell for Mr. Snow. As a co-conspirator of the Bush administration, I have no special sympathy for him. I only wish his suffering were more prolonged.

Posted by: gundumma | July 12, 2008 at 01:37 PM
I prefer to give tribute to the many fathers, mothers, sisters, and brothers of the hundreds of thousands of innocent Iraqi civilians that were killed all because Mr. Snow continued to perpetuate the lies of the Bush Administration. May THEY rest in peace.
The worst lies are indeed the ones we tell ourselves. May Tony Snow get the eternity he truly deserves….
Posted by: Jan Friedman | July 12, 2008 at 03:07 PM
It is sad. Not one person said an ill word about Russert, and rightfully so. Yet, because he worked for Fox News and President Bush and was a conservative, Tony Snow is insulted and his memory and legacy attacked by hate-mongers.

Flava Flav!!! God Help Us!
Why is this guy so popular?
Why are so many attractive women fighting to be with this guy?
Why is he relavent today?
I don't get people. I really don't get what the big deal is that everyone just thinks that this idiot is so great. the guy looks like a cockroach with a stupid clock handing from his neck and a moronic crown on his shrunken head.
And women fight to be with him
Which shows me something about women today. Most women...MOST, not all...are more competitive than any man ever dreamed. If you put 50 women on an island and only one man...they would kill each other for his attention. It doesn't matter if he looked like the ugly dude that was in the dungeon in the movie "The Three Musketeers," (the Charlie Sheen, Chris O'Donnell, Oliver Platt, Keifer Sutherland version from the 90's...if you've seen it, you know who I am talking about.) It wouldn't matter if he was some homless bum with a matted beard and greasy hair...if he was the only man, the women on the island would throw themselves at him like he was the world's biggest stud muffin.
Which leads me to another conclusion. Sadly, in our society, despite the feminine movement and everything, women today have no self-esteem. Because of the way they are portrayed on TV, in movies, and in music videos, women are shown to have no value unless they are sleeping with someone. So, when you limit their choices to one man, they automatically need his attention to feel self worth. Even a goof like me, who has no chance of walking into a club and being chosen over every other guy there, could be coveted by the most attractive women if you make it a competition.
Women cannot stand rejection, even if it is by someone they ordinarily wouldn't want. Women cannot stand to lose, even if the competition isn't something they would logically want to win. Women cannot stand to be left out of the circle of attention.
These are generalized statements...there are some women out there who are strong enough to rise above letting how men use them to determine their self-worth. However, they care constantly attacked for feeling that way and for standing up for what they feel.
I just think our society is in very serious trouble. I think women need to value themselves as more than walking, talking blow-up dolls and find men who treat them as such. And more men need to start thinking above the belt...
But what do I know?

Women! Listen!
I wanted to discuss an important topic.
Ladies.
Yes, ladies. I am making some generalizations in this little rambling, but I think about everyone could take something out of what I am saying. I might sound like I am on some kind of high horse...and maybe I am. But I think this needs to be said and repeated over, and over and over and over...
The reason this is such an issue is that there is a serious lack of ladies in the world today. Even fewer little girls will grow up to be ladies in the years to come.
By lady, I mean a woman who is confident, modest, strong, and values herself as a person and refuses to be objectified as a "piece." I mean a woman who is strong enough to live and be happy without selling her body for acceptance and "love."
Too often, on TV, in movies, in songs, in every aspect of life, girls are taught that letting a boy have his way with them is acceptable and encouraged. Girls are ingrained with the idea that sex is their only asset to get what they think they want. And what they think they want is also ingrained by the same venues that teach them that they are only as good as the amount of cleavage they show or partners they have.
So, today, as a man, I want to stop the trend. I don't want some easy tramp who thinks the only way I might love her is if she sleeps with me. I don't want some woman who is incomplete by herself and needs to feel wanted, and they stoop to any level to get that feeling of want, even if it is misguided and more lust than true want.
Instead, what I want is a woman with confidence. A woman who knows that she is more that just a notch on a bedpost. A woman who thinks for herself and doesn't buy into the idea that showing more and giving more is the right way to live. A woman with morals. A woman with her head on straight. Someone who can intrigue me without unbuttoning her blouse.
Women, its time to stand up for yourselves. Stop letting yourself get walked on and treated as a piece of tail. You have so much more to offer. Be proud of who you are and be strong. Stop listening to what 50 Cent or Ludacris or Eminem or any of 1,000 singers might say...stop looking at movies and TV shows....you can still watch and enjoy them, but stop learning their misguided lessons.
Girls today have lost the innocence and modesty that makes women so incredible. High school girls compete for lovers and numbers of partners like boys used to only claim to have done in locker rooms. Far too many girls are running out of fingers to count their partners on before they get a high school diploma. Too many girls are under the impression that it is okay to be promiscuous and to dress in revealing and slutty clothes. Too many girls are growing up as cheap, easy, incomplete people whose life consists of too high an emphasis on sex.
Girls might want to blame guys...say guys are the reason because guys are brought up to think the same thing. To an extent, the girls do have a point. However, girls, it is up to you to take a stand and teach the boys that you are worth more than that. Stop giving in to the cute guys just because they are cute. Stop giving yourself away and stop degrading and devaluing yourself.
And guys...stop thinking with your penis. It is almost as much our fault for acting like sex-craved horn-dogs as it is the girls' fault for giving in and rewarding that kind of weakness. It is a far stronger man that waits to have sex for love then have sex for fun.
Having sex can be fun...but it can be so much more. It can be truly fulfilling and truly gratifying if you wait for the right partner and the right reasons. Having sex is not a way to create love where it doesn't exist, nor is it a way to extend a relationship. Sex is not an avenue to keep a person you care about with you. If you have to go to bed to keep someone, then they obviously do not value you enough. So, don't give in to pressure. That is not love, and that is not healthy.
We have become a free-sex society and it is tragically destroying our world and any semblance of morality. Guys and girls, stop going to bed with people you aren't married to. If you wait until there is a real sense of love and meaning between partners, everything will be so much better.
Ok, I am off the high horse now...but I am still right.

Random Thoughts for 2-3-2008
-Love. There is not near enough of it in the world. Anymore, most of us spend our lives in a funk of cynicism, sarcasm, and vilitry towards people around us, even our closest friends and family. We are quick to insult, put-down, or try to cheapen everyone we see. He have such a disdain for the world that we constantly impede success in life and in relationships. We need more love in the world.
-IMAGE. This kind of goes hand in hand with the first point on love. Everyone is so concerned with their own image. We let the slightest thing become an attack on that image. We are also quick to attack someone else for not fitting into a preconceived notion of what image a person should reflect. Take Jennifer Love Hewitt a few months ago. She was with her fiance celebrating her engagement to that fiance. The world went crazy with picture of her in a two-piece swimsuit. While the swimsuit was not flattering, I completely disagree with the verdict by many people that she was/is fat. Then, last year, when Jordin Sparks won American Idol, people ripped her for not being a toothpick. I think those two women are prime examples of the images little girls need to see. That is how a woman should look.
If your knee is bigger than your thigh, you are TOO SMALL. If your ribs can stick out more than your cleavage, you ARE UNHEALTHY and TOO SMALL!! I am so tired of the negative images being put out there that if a girl doesn't have a dress size in single digits, then she is too big.
-Superbowl 42. This game was very similar to the 2006 National Championship game between the Texas Longhorns and the USC Trojans. All you heard during the build up was how great the Patriots were. How their perfect season was inevitable. How much more talented they were. How this game could get ugly. Instead, we got a classic game where the underdog thumbed their collective nose at the pundits and won the game they weren't supposed to.
I am happy for the local boy, Ahmad Bradshaw, a graduate of nearby Graham High School. Other than that, I had no dog in this fight and really had no preference on who won. It was, however, an exciting game to watch. Little Eli just became a true quarterback tonight.
-You Decide 2008. What was Florida thinking? John McCain is as much a Conservative Republican as Rolls Royce is a cheap car. The media is touting McCain because they know that he is beatable in a national election. Are we really ready for a president with a comb-over?
Seriously, though. I am so disappointed that Fred Thompson dropped out. I think the one error he made was getting in the race so late. I do hope that Fred is a top choice for Vice President once the nomination is made. I am definitely for Mitt Romney for our nominee. He can handle the economy and with the help of some good people, can handle the war once he takes office.
What I am so fearful of is the Socialist Society we will get if we experience the tragedy of a Clinton or Obama victory this year. Obama is very scary. Clinton is scary. The things that they are promising are as possible as the promises made by Joe Isuzu in the 1980's. The sad fact is most of the voting public only sees the 5 second soundbites and clips of the promises. They all sound so great, but the reality is none of it can truly happen if we are going to stay a strong, independent, safe, financially secure, sovereign nation.
Well, I guess I will end these random thoughts here. Have a good one!

CNN's Slanted Reporting Against Pro Wrestling
I hate the negative connotation that people have with wrestling.
Wrestling is no different than any other sport. It has a few bad apples. It has a few black eyes. Chris Benoit goes nuts and does something unimaginable...people question whether wrestling should even be allowed to continue.
OJ Simpson goes nuts and hacks his ex-wife's head off and brutally murders an innocent man at the same time, no one dares attack pro football over it.
Since the Benoit tragedy, there has been this mob of media with their pitchforks and torches trying to tear down this form of entertainment.
Some of you may think I am biased and am overly protective of something I am interested in and love...well, look at the two links below and tell me if pro wrestling is getting a fair shake.
John Cena did an interview with CNN, a "trusted name in news," for their slant, hack-job attack on pro wrestling called "Death Grip." This program was a look at how steroids plays into wrestling. One link is the full interview, uncut, that John Cena gave. The other is the 30 second excerpt that CNN ran.
Watch and decide...
This is the clip CNN aired in their slanted "Death Grip" program.

Deerborne, MI Republican Debates
In his first debate since officially entering the race, Senator Fred Thompson seemed to be out to get his points out with as little flair as possible. Seemingly, Rudy Guliani and Mitt Romney battled back and forth for the spotlight. In my opinion, these are the best choices for president. Any of the three will offer a more successful administration than anything the democrats could conjure up.
Thompson seemed to try to stay off the radar, wanting to let Mitt and Rudy cancel each other out and allow him to gracefully step in as the front-runner. In any event, I do believe that a ticket that combines any of these three men would be impressive and worth voting for.
As stated throughout the debate, our economy is actually doing well. It is strong and has seen over 20 consecutive quarters of growth. Inflation is low and so is unemployment. This growth is directly attributed to the Bush Tax Cuts.
The problem with the Republicans going into Michigan to brag on the Bush Tax Cuts, low unemployment, and the robust economy is that the exact opposite is occurring within Michigan. And, being the truly fair and balanced news source it is, CNBC must have randomly chosen the spot and had no intention of setting up the Republicans for the potential pitfal.
However, a deeper look at Michigan shows something. It shows the Liberal Plan for America in a scale model. It shows high taxes, endless entitlements, and fund shortages for the government. The joblessness in Michigan is staggering, more than twice the national average. The taxes paid by the middle class is nearly back-breaking. The entire state is on the verge of its own economic crash. Its a state that is run from the Governor on down to the Lansing dog catcher by liberal democrats.
Within the last two weeks, in order to secure for funds for the nearly bankrupt state government, the Governor of Michigan did what any self-respecting Democratic leader would do. An emergency tax hike was called for, once again, because, hey, it hasn't worked before, so maybe it will this time.
Raising taxes to raise funds for the government is the same as the bee trying to get to the hive through a closed window. The answer seems to be to go this way, yet no matter how many times you bang your head into the clear glass, you are not going to get through to the other side. Yet, these democrats keep banging their heads into the glass.
So, I encourage you to look at the real numbers in Michigan. Study the state. This, my friends, would be America under Hillary, Obama, Breck Girl Edwards, or pretty much anyone on the other side.
Then, I encourage everyone reading this, if you are planning on voting democratic, go ahead and write a check for about 10-25% of your income and mail it to the IRS. Go ahead. You'll be doing it in the future anyway. Note that this check, and future taxes, represents the increase of at least 10-25% under a left-wing administration. There really is no law against sending money to the government. So, go ahead and start sending the extra money now.
Then, request that Michael Moore, Alec Baldwin, Susan Sarandon, Al Gore, Leo DiCaprio, Sean Penn, and Danny Glover and the like start cutting checks to the government. They are all for a democrat in office, and all for higher taxes. I say, put your money where your mouth is...literally. Michael Moore was on Bill O'Reilly during the 2004 campaign claiming to be okay with a 60% tax rate...so, why doesn't he and his ilk prove it and send the money now anyway?
Back to the point...Michigan's suffering should not be in vain. We need to look at the state as a microchosm of the US under liberal rule...at least from an economic stand point.
We all know Liberals would leave us wide open to terrorist attacks. They have done it before. (See World Trade Center Attacks 1993, US Embassy bombings in Africa, and the USS Cole attack. And if you want to look further back, see the hostages that were taken under Mr. Peanut and released immediately after the swearing in of Ronald Reagan. I don't recall the US getting attacked under Reagan either...or George H.W. Bush....hmm, see a pattern?)
So, can it be any clearer which party needs control in 2008? You want our economy taxed into oblivion like Michigan? You want our people killed by terrorists here, at home?
If so, vote Democrat.

Happy New Year 2006!
Just an idea...this goes out to my women friends. Please tell two of your friends, and tell them to tell two more and so on.
Stop letting yourselves be cheapened.
Stop letting yourself be convinced that you have to look slutty and or act slutty to get a man's attention or to get somewhere in life. Stop encouraging my fellow menfolk to think from their zippers by giving in to their childish demands.
Stop being so forgiving of men for cheating. Cheating is the ultimate hurt and insult. Forgiving is just slightly different than encouraging. Forgiving a cheater gives them control...gives them the power to cheat more often because they know they have you around their finger.
Stop acting like the women on TV. Women, like us males, have so few positive role models. The only time a woman should let a man into her bed on the first date is if that first date didn't come until after they fell in love and were married.
I am not trying to be holier-than-thou. I am not trying to insult or berate or come down on. It is merely an idea I propose. I did, in fact, lose a friend of three years over a difference in ideas over the summer...so I know how overreacted people can get. But I hope you can take this in the spirit in which it is intended.
Happy New Year! May God bless your 2006.

Kobe "TheRapist" Bryant
I want the ball. I wanna score all the points.
Shaq gone to the Heat. Phil was let go. A new list of pass-to-Kobe-first underacheivers enlisted to kiss Kobe's butt.
Kobe miss playoffs. Kobe's dream isn't what he wanted. Kobe tells Mr. Buss that he should get his daughter to use her feminine powers over Phil to tell Phil to come back...since he is the only reputable coach that could take the job since the only other applicants were three season ticket holders, a homeless guy named Ned-meister, and Jack Nicholson.
Kobe's team still sucks...the simple reason is no one has bent Kobe over their knee and beat the hell out of the brat.
Now, after a rough week of Shaq once again proving his value truly stands head and shoulders above the brat's, getting in a scuffle with one of the underacheivers who replaced the man that Kobe cannot win without, then throwing one of the most blatant, childish, dangerous, cheapest elbows in the history of mankind to a no name point guard who accidentally cut the rapist's eyebrow.
THEN, he dares to complain about a two-game suspension?
That elbow, delivered 1/2 inch lower, could have caused serious damage to the young point guard's adam's apple, possibly injuring or breaking the larnyx. The elbow was blatant. It was intended to cause harm.
Flagrant fouls happen. Players make mistakes. Flagrant fouls are called when a player is overzealous when they commit a foul on a player. Kobe has been on the recieving end of a couple flagrants. The foul was called. Free throws were shot. The game went on. There were no suspensions because the flagrant foul call was enough...the punishment fit the crime at that point.
This crime...the elbow to the throat of an opponent...was malicious in its intent and execution. The tape clearly shows Kobe aiming and delivering an elbow shiver to the chin/throat area of the player's body. There was no attempt to mask the elbow. It was a straight up mugging...something even flag-worthy on a football field.
And Kobe dares to question the suspension?
Kobe is lucky, first that he is not in prison thanks to idiot fans who did everything they could to violate the privacy of the accuser and put pressure on her until she dropped the charges. Second, he is lucky that two games is ALL his over-paid spoiled rear end is losing. Third, he is very lucky that this player was okay. As I said, and inch off the mark and this guy might not talk again...or worse.
And Kobe dares to question the suspension?
Kobe is a spoiled kid who consistanly gets his way because he can play some ball. He is rich and can play ball. So, the world is his. How dare David Stern live up to his last name and punish a star like Kobe...how dare you David Stern. Kobe is a dynomite baller...how dare you punish him for what he did. Him beign able to put the ball in the basket and sell tickets and jerseys puts him above the law and above decency.
Actually...Kobe, TO, Latrell "I Can't Feed My Family on 9 Million a Year" Spreewell, and all these other babies can go play ball on a distant island with no cameras and no media to kiss their asses.
Give me more Tim Duncan. More Emeka Okafur. Give me more Reggie Millers and Larry Birds and Michael Jordans and Magic Johnsons and Donovan McNabbs. More AC Greens and Warrick Dunns. Give me more athletes that fit the descriptions and definitions of role-model...class...respect...integrity...maturity.
Why can't the media keep the mics on these type of people?

The Evilness of America...
Thats what the media would have you believe. But, let us look at two contrasts.
When the tsunami hit Asia, Americans were among the first to be on the ground in the relief effort. Within hours of the tragic event, President Bush pledged X amount of dollars of immediate help. How was this help received? "America is greedy, won't help anyone." Bush pledge more and more support, but our own media would not give him credit for the help. The international media went on a field day criticizing Bush and America for not doing enough and not doing it fast enough. We did more than any other country, any two countries combined, and it wasn't enough...it didn't come fast enough.
Fast forward to this week. Katrina destroys most of one state and parts of three others. Thousands may be dead. Power, homes, communications all destroyed and not to be replaced for weeks to come. Bush is again doing everything he can to help. But, my question is, where is the international effort? Where is Britain and France and the UN and NATO? Where is the outcry for other nations to help us in our time of need?
No, again, America is left to do it all. It is up to us to repair the world and repair our own home. No outside help. Nothing we do is enough.
I guess its the price we pay for being the greatest nation on earth.

The Self Image of Young Girls...It's Scary.
About Me...And This Blog Site...
I am very much a Right Wing Conservative. I am a Reagan Conservative. I believe Americans, in general, are smarter than elected officials in Washington, DC. We should be more in charge than the Government.
We, as individuals and families, should have more responsibility over our own, hard-earned money and not send more and more and more taxes to the out-of-touch politicians. I believe the government is there to serve us, and not us to serve them.
I believe in America's greatness and that, overall, we are the most generous, forgiving, intelligent, and genuinely decent country in the world. I also believe that we are the most powerful nation in the history of the world, but do not use that power to hold over the collective heads of other nations.
I believe that low taxes, intelligent spending of those tax revenues, strong initiatives on defense and education, and small government influence on the day-to-day lives of Americans are some of the most important ideals related to how the US should be operated.I believe in the freedoms granted by the US Constitution. I believe that judges should uphold and interpret the laws as written in the US Constitution, and not refer to any foreign legislation to make their historic decisions.
I believe the First Amendment, as well as the entire Bill of Rights, are the most important laws this world has ever seen.
I believe abortion is WRONG. I believe that homosexuality is WRONG. I believe that allowing anyone to publicly debate the possibility of lowering the age of consent, especially for young boys to consent to older men, is a tragedy of morality. I believe that organizations like NAMBLA should be publicly shunned and not given a platform to spew their harmful and dangerous rhetoric.
I believe there is a sad lacking in the ability of our nation to appreciate and accept self responsibility. We, as a nation, blame daddy, racism, sexism, classism, mommy, the mean teacher, the mean little league coach, the loud mouthed uncle, the financial status of the neighborhood in which we grew up in, and a million and one other reasons why we do not succeed. How often do we, as a nation, take the blame for our own mistakes? How often do you hear someone accept responsibility for their own mistakes? How often?
I am conservative. I am worried about the future of the country and the planet, especially if O-BOMB-A or Billary Clinton make it to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. I will start posting my fears, my hopes, my ideas as they all relate to news and politics. I hope to open some eyes and change some opinions with my writings. Most of all, I hope you will read my words and be inspired to find the truth...and not rely on Chris Matthews or Keith Olberman or Katie Couric or Matt Lauer for your opinions. I hope you will break the mold and do something unreal...unexpected...do something that O-BOMB-A and Billary are afraid of you doing...
THINK FOR YOURSELF.
