2011 Wrap up, 2012 Preview...

It’s been a long time since I’ve actually put out a complete blog. I have spent a lot of time resorting to Tweets and Facebook updates. However, as we wrap up 2011, I want to discuss the coming election year and the importance of conservatives uniting and standing on principles.

In 2011, the GOP establishment continued to miss the point of the 2010 elections and what the Tea Party and conservative mandate meant. John Boehner and Mitch McConnell have both been incredible let-downs in leadership. I have felt betrayed and disappointed in the Republican Party in 2011. If we want a chance at real change in 2012, some attitudes will need to change, some spines will need to stiffen, and some leaders will need to stand up.

The debt ceiling debacle was a colossal failure. There is no way the government collapses if the ceiling is hit. Perhaps some services will need to be temporarily closed, but there is a monthly income of approximately $392 BILLION. The President of the United States and the US Treasury Department have sole discretion over how monies are spent should there be an uncovered portion of the budget and Congress has not given authorization for additional borrowing. Therefore, boys and girls, had the GOP stood strong and fought to the bitter end for real spending cuts, not gotten it, and the debt ceiling had been reached, Obama and his Treasury guru Timothy Geithner would have to decide how to spend the $392 BILLION. So, if they opted not to send Social Security checks or checks to the military, it would have been Obama’s responsibility and choice to do that. Yet, instead of getting that message, you know, the TRUTH out, the GOP buckled. For some reason, Boehner and the GOP establishment just don’t get it. They still think giving in to the left will somehow garner favor and fairness from the mainstream media and Obama himself. Not going to happen.

The GOP is still dying for a leader who will step up and lead and not buckle to pressure. The stakes are too high now for us to continue to be weak in the knees. ObamaCare will, in fact, destroy what’s left of our healthcare system. Health Care needs REAL reform, and not a bunch of bureaucracy that will put government between people who need care and the doctors they want to see. ObamaCare is making it harder for insurance companies to be viable. It is designed to force insurance companies out of business, thus forcing a need for a “public” system. Which is just an awesome idea. Look how well the government can deliver mail on time, or how profitable Amtrak has become, or how well the VA system meets the health needs of all veterans. The government cannot get FEMA trailers into New Orleans for weeks after a hurricane they knew about 6 days ahead of time. Yet we want them to take over health care and life and death decisions? Really?

Health Care needs reform. Lawyers have too much power and influence the cost of health care more than anything else. Yet, because most of the Democratic Party is run by lawyers, no one dared address lawsuit abuse in the health care bill. The GOP needs to fight and make the repeal of this travesty the number one priority on January 20, 2013. Second priority is the repeal of Dodd-Frank. Third priority is to open the way for the pipeline from Canada to the gulf. Getting those three priorities accomplished would do wonders for the economy. Here’s how…
Repealing ObamaCare will release billions of dollars in bureaucracy off the backs of businesses, big and small. Even if the company tries to save some money by dropping coverage and paying the fine, they would still be paying people to deal with the red tape and bureaucracy to pay those fines. Now, without that burden, they could afford to recruit and retain the best people for their company. With the best people performing and content with their jobs, their productivity improves, the company improves, and more jobs can be created. Not to mention the thousands of people who work for insurance companies whose jobs would really be saved (as opposed to the fictitious saved or created jobs we keep hearing about.).

Dodd-Frank is terrible law. It makes banking, seeking loans, and anything financial excruciatingly painful, especially if you are a small business. Dodd-Frank is killing jobs on a daily basis. Banks are laying people off in 2011 to get ready for policies within Dodd-Frank that take effect over the next two years. Dodd-Frank is bad law, not to mention it’s complete lack of reform to Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac (of course having nothing to do with those two failed institutions undying and exorbitant financial backing of Democrat candidates, particularly Chris Dodd, Barney Frank, and Barack Obama). The repeal of Dodd-Frank will alleviate the immense pressure being brought to bear on the business community. If it’s easier to operate, it’s easier to produce, it’s easier to create profit, and then it’s easier to grow and hire.

President Obama is holding 20,000, jobs hostage until after the 2012 elections. The Keystone pipeline, by itself, would create a buzz in the American economy. This pipeline would run from Canada to Texas. It would create a minimum of 20,000 jobs. It would lead to a lessening of America’s dependence on Middle Eastern oil. American construction technology would make it one of the safest pipelines in the world. We have a so many pipelines in the harsh conditions of Alaska. Does anyone know the last time one of them burst? Wouldn’t building in the mid-west be far less risky? Yet, despite already recorded and reported environmental studies giving the pipeline the O.K., Obama is giving in to environmentalist wackos and holding these jobs and economic buzz hostage for political reasons.

So, when a Republican is sworn in on January 20, 2013, authorizing the pipeline would open the proverbial floodgates to some economic improvement in the nation. On Monday, July 28, 2008, George W. Bush announced the lifting of the executive moratorium on the harvesting of oil shale in the western US. That day…THAT DAY…gas prices dropped. Gas prices dropped all the way through the election. Gas was $1.85 when Obama was sworn in on January 20, 2009. $1.85. Just think how fast prices would drop again with the announcement that we’re going to give ourselves access to more Canadian oil that’s cheaper.

Think…how much better would your holidays have been if you were paying under $2/gallon at the pump?

As I look at the field of GOP Candidates, I am slightly disappointed. Instead of running against Obama, they have taken to tearing each other down. I have not chosen a candidate out of the remaining field. My pick was Herman Cain. However, the hatred of a black conservative was too much for him to put his family through. And that is a shame. Lies and baseless accusations can prevent a black conservative from running for office. Had Cain been a liberal, the women making the accusations would have been vilified as racists and had their worst, darkest secrets exposed on the mainstream media.

However, out of the field remaining, I wish Rick Santorum would gain more traction. Romney and Gingrich leave me slightly uneasy. Their records suggest they are prone to some of the problems I have with Boehner and McConnell in the Congress. They seem vulnerable to giving in and getting weak-kneed when pressured by the media and liberals in Washington. Michelle Bachmann is great in the House, but she does not have the strength or delivery in presentation to defeat Obama. Ron Paul is a crazy, hapless hack. When he is lucid, he makes some sense on domestic economic issues. Foreign policy, however, is his weakness and, if elected to the White House, would spark the third world war, while we sit at home and wait for the evil of the world to come calling. As for Huntsman, his daughters are very pretty, but that’s the only thing he’s brought worthwhile to the campaign. That being said, I do not want this guy anywhere near the GOP Convention next fall. He is NOT conservative. He is barely Republican.

So, of the field, my endorsement at this time goes to Santorum. He is the real conservative leader in the pack, no matter how much Charles Krauthammer or the other pundits in conservative media want to bury him and pretend he’s not a candidate. However, because, for whatever reason, he is not getting the traction he needs, I think thanks in no small part to Fox News burying everyone BUT Romney and Gingrich, I will probably go with writing in Gingrich on my Virginia ballot.

Nonetheless, whoever gets the GOP nomination will need to step up and lead. He or she will need to absorb the slings and arrows from the left. He or she will have to stick to their principles. If they stand up, run against Obama and his failed policies, hammer home the idea that Obama had all three branches of government under his control until January 2011, when the GOP took the House (thus getting through everything he really wanted to), and showing how America is worse off than it was in 2008, we can win a Republican Supermajority and get rid of ObamaCare, Dodd-Frank, and clear the way for the Keystone pipeline. Those three agenda items would set the foundation for a revived economy…if only the GOP has the intestinal fortitude to do it.

And they say the Tea Party is all about hate....

So, being the type of person I am, I joined a left-wing propaganda group on Facebook. This particular group was railing against a joke going around on the Internet. The joke goes as follows:
DEAR LORD, THIS YEAR YOU TOOK MY FAVORITE ACTOR, PATRICK SWAYZIE. YOU TOOK MY FAVORITE ACTRESS, FARAH FAWCETT. YOU TOOK MY FAVORITE SINGER, MICHAEL JACKSON. I JUST WANTED TO LET YOU KNOW, MY FAVORITE PRESIDENT IS BARACK OBAMA. AMEN
It is meant to be funny. There is no hate, bigotry, or malice intended. It's supposed to be funny. It is not a legit prayer asking for a real death or demise for President Barack Hussein Obama. It is a joke. End of story.

Let us not forget the shuddering silence that followed plays and books that fantasized about the untimely death of George W. Bush. There was unbridled hate and vitriol aimed at Bush and Dick Cheney for eight years, and it came from the media, from entertainers, from bloggers, and not just wild fringe elements. Yet, because the elites deemed conservatives and Republicans as less than human, any kind of attack was allowed and welcomed.

(WASHINGTON POST STORY ABOUT BOOK ABOUT BUSH ASSASSINATION)

I joined this Facebook group full of liberal sheep who see Obama as a deity and not a human. It is a group calling for the deletion and banning of a group who uses the above joke as the group title. These liberal whiners claim its racist, bigoted, and evil. (The same brand of people who laugh when Trigg Palin is made fun of on Family Guy or when Todd Palin is accused of being sexually involved with his daughters...ironic, huh? I joined in order to offer a chance for real debate on this issue and the double standard in how people react to how liberals and how Conservatives are treated.

I debated one particular individual who called himself Luis Stevens Guerrero. I offered merit-based, fact-based arguments. He resorted to name-calling, insults, and constant degradation against me and all Conservatives. I told him that his last name, Guerrero, means warrior, and its a shame he cannot be a warrior for his own beliefs and defend how he feels. His responses directly to me were ignorant, weak, and childish. I accused him of coming to a battle of wits unarmed. End of argument, or so I thought.

Luis Stevens Guerrero decided to go to my profile and find out who my mom is. He then proceeds to send the following e-mail message to my mother:
You should have aborted David.

Cheers

Thus is the typical garbage as spewed by a vast majority of the left.

Need more? Let's look at Obama ally Bertha Lewis, the head of ACORN. She spoke to a group of young Democratic Socialists, applauded them as being socialists, and then compared anyone who opposes socialism to the racists and bigots who believed in segregation, internments, and other great racial travesties. She then called the TEA Party movement a "bowel movement."

How about the lies that democratic senators told the media about being called the "N" word during the Tea Party protests outside the Capitol prior to the health care vote. No video nor audio evidence has been produced, even with Andrew Breitbart's $100K bounty for such evidence, to support the claims. Yet, the media and anyone on the left continues the narrative accusing the Tea Party of being racist.

The left cannot defeat the Tea Party on facts and reason, so they result to hate. They result to name calling. They result to writing to mothers of conservatives to tell that innocent mother that she should have aborted her conservative child.

The left is truly a class act.

Negro Dialects and Liberal Gifts to Blacks

Democrat Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid referred to Barack Obama as not having a "negro dialect." But, it was meant as complimentary, and not as an insult. So, since he is liberal and in a position of power that is vital to the further government take-over of America, his comments are excused, defended, and ignored.

It just amazes me the blind, and often ignorant, manner in which minorities, especially African-Americans follow Democrats. No matter what the facts are, African-Americans, speaking only in terms of the vast majority, will blindly follow the left and buy whatever it is they are selling.

In so many instances, such as affirmative action, liberls spew this mantra of how unfair and uneven the world is for minorities, and then tell minorities only politicians can help them overcome the biases. Rarely, if ever, do you hear a liberal politician preach on the merits and efforts of minorities, but how they, the politician, can help lower the bar and assist the minorities in getting to where they want to be.

The truth is, liberals treat blacks, hispanics, and other minority groups like caged animals. They give minorities small bits of raw meat to keep them happy and fed, the whole time killing their insticts to hunt and work for themselves. "Here, here is a free check because you're black and life is unfair." "We will never cut welfcare because cutting it would be racist since so many blacks are stuck on welfare." "Here, take this job that you aren't trained for because you are black. You won't get fired, either, because you are black and life is unfair for you."

Liberals are some of the most racist people known to man. They hold minorities back by constantly lowering the bar and lowering expectations, thus cutting their legs from underneath them. They take away their desire to succeed by telling them it is near impossible to succeed because of so much stacked against them. Liberals are racists because they do everything to take away minorities' desire to better themselves. Welfare and Affirmitive Action are the new slavery.

Everything the liberals try to give to minorities is an empty suit, empty promise, and crippling to their human potential. Liberals will give everything they can think of to minorities, as long as it is on the taxpayers' bill, to keep them from actually trying to do it on their own.

In the 1960's, the democrats and liberals fought AGAINST the Civil Rights movement. Yes, AGAINST. It was the Republicans that supported and pushed-through the Civil Rights Act. Republicans and the Conservative Right love all people and support them in their struggles to improve their own lot. We, do not, however, think that anyone who is able, regardless of color, creed, religion, sexual orientation, sex, or gender, should be allowed to sit at home and live off the backs of the taxpayer. Some people cannot work, we know. However, there are millions of people who sit on their butt and live better than many who work to provide that life for them.

Yet, for me to put forth that belief, that people who are able need to earn their way and not mooch, I will be accused by some of being a racist, a bigot, and insensitive. There are too many people who refuse to ask people to earn their way because they are afraid of being called racist, which is sad. Telling the truth is racism? If telling the truth offends a race of people, then perhaps that group of people needs to work to change their truth.

In our country, liberals like Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid talk a good game for minorities during election cycles, but in all this time, with all these promises, with all these speeches, how much better off are minorities now? Most homeless are black. Most uneducated are black. Most unemployed are black. Most under employed are black. Most living in poverty are black. Its not racism, it is fact. It is tragic.

So much of what the liberals give to minorities is nothing but a half-hearted effort to manipulate, control, and quiet the minorities. Promises of freebies, free checks, reparations, free health care, and the power of the media and political machine to put pressure on anyone who dares hire more whites than blacks all work together to control minorities. Everything is an empty suit and an empty promise.

Liberals celebrated the candidacy of a black man for President of the United States. They talked about history and how important it was to elect a black man. They created an environment where people were made to feel guilty along the lines of bigotry and racism to vote for the black guy. In the Iowa caucuses, there was incredible pressure on these cornfield white people to pick the black guy and not be a racist by picking one of the whites. It is hard to vote for a white over a black when you are in a face-to-face group. Obama was selected by means of affirmative action in 2008. His selection was billed by the left as history in the making. It was moving and meaningful. Black President! Finally! Let's select the First Black President! Black President! That's what we heard from the left for 18 months...and still hear today.

Yet, just like everything else the left promises blacks, this promise and this event was only half-hearted and a way to gain control over blacks. They promoted and promised a black president...but what did the blacks get? A half-white president controlled by white 'massas' in Congress and at MoveOn.org.

Race in the Election

In my previous blog, I discussed the idea that Barack Obama was elected simply by the ideals of Affirmative Action.

Race was never an issue in the Democratic Primaries, nor in the National Race, until Obama, himself, or mouthpieces in the Democratic party, played the race card.

It truly saddens me that the first black president was elected in that manner. I hate that he was elected simply based on the color of his skin. Not one Obama voter truly took into consideration the content of Obama's character, for if they had, they might not have voted for him.

We do not know who Obama really is. He talked a great game for 2 years, but he will not be able to back it up. Not in the least.

Barack Obama will be a colossal failure as President of the United States of America.

That saddens me.

I love all people. I love blacks, whites, Asians, Hispanics...all people. I want to support my black friends in their celebration of a Black President. I do.

However, I am sad for them. Barack Obama will be a failure. All of the celebration will be for naught when we enter another Great Depression, courtesy of Obama's tax hikes, and the expiration of the Bush Tax Cuts. Spending will go through the roof, even higher than it is currently. Jobs will be lost in record numbers. Our very civilization could start flirting with complete and utter collapse over the next four years, if we do no get more conservatives in the House and Senate.

I know that Black people got on board with this exciting idea of finally getting the White House. I just wish they would have gotten behind someone with true leadership abilities, the political clout and capital to enact change, and the wisdom to part with popular ideas and forge ahead with what is right.

Instead, we have a man with no real successes in life other than running three successful campaigns, and writing two memoirs. We have a man that has never stood up to Nancy Pelosi or Harry Reid. We have a man that has never said no to anyone in his party.

I truly wanted to see a Black President, someday. Just not this one. Just not someone who will be such a colossal failure. Just not someone who very well could ruin our country's economy and national security.

A friend of mine sent me a forwarded text that greatly offended me, and showed me even more how this election went to Obama for the wrong reasons. The text read, "They did not want to give us 40 acres and a mule...so we will take 50 states and a White House." It offended me because I had nothing to do with slavery, and I have always spoken against slavery. I had no hand in that mess, yet now, I have to have this taunt thrown in my face?

It saddens me that his election was solely about race. It was about throwing the first black guy in the White House that we could. Black people, whether you know it or not, in 4 years, you will be set back 20 years.

11-4-08...The Saddest Day in Black American History

In the 1960's, the honorable Reverend Doctor Martin Luther King, Jr., marched and preached. He fought and tried to lead Black Americans to a better day and time. He wanted to lead Black America to a brighter, better future. As he said, he wanted people to be "judged by the content of their character," and not "by the color of their skin."

Sadly, since an assassin's bullet ended Dr. King's life, Black America has lost their way.

Black America has few Black Americans who are truly leading their culture. The only leaders in the Black Community who get respect are those that cow-tow and humble themselves at the alter of Liberal Whites.

Liberal Whites are concerned with Black people only at election time. They promote the idea that Blacks are unable to succeed in life only because of Conservative Whites. Liberal Whites use Black Americans that will spew the same nonsensical garbage that they are. Black people are only a tool that Liberals use to get power, then forget about until election time.

It is so sad the fact that a man like Dr. King was assassinated. I truly think his death hurt America, black and white, more deeply than we can fathom. I wish Dr. King had lived and young black people for the last 2 or 3 generations could have truly learned what this man was REALLY about.

Dr. King would not support an insulting measure like Affirmative Action. To him, a man that was about character and decency and work ethic, Affirmative Action, the idea that a person of color was given a position, job, or perk simply because of their color, and not based 100% on merit and success, Dr. King would have been appalled at the idea.

Affirmative Action cut the legs out from under so many good, hard-working black people, as well as people of different ethnicities. Affirmative Action helped re-solidify racial divides. So many whites felt, and quite a few justifiably-so, that their work and success was made worthless when a person of a different race was competing for the same thing. Furthermore, many blacks who did, in fact, clearly earn their spot were categorized as an "affirmative action" success, instead of being credited with earning the spot. Affirmative Action deleted so much of a hard-working African American's efforts.

Affirmative Action was the biggest insult to African Americans, and the Liberals and Democrats laughed all the way back to their offices in D.C.

Fast forward to 2008. This is the year the Civil Rights Movement took a big punch to the gut. This is the year a man was elected courtesy of Affirmative Action.

Barack Hussein Obama was not elected on merit, ability, or track record. He was not elected for having a real plan for bettering our country. Barack Hussein Obama did not EARN his way to becoming President of the United States.

He was given the job to meet an ugly quota.

No one on the Republican side of the ticket even hinted at the fact that Obama was different looking. They never even brought up his middle name. John McCain went over and above the normal call of duty to ensure that there were no possible way his campaign could be called racist.

The only people that wanted to make sure you knew he was black were Obama himself, and the rest of the Democratic Party. Black law makers from South Carolina to New York and California, and everywhere in between, made sure to point out that Barack was black. Black law makers in the south even called McCain and Sarah Palin racists and compared them to segregationalist George Wallace.

James Carville, among other leading Democratic/Liberal mouthpieces, threatened and warned of riots in the streets, should Obama lose. Black leaders said a vote against Obama was a vote for racism. Time and time again, the CLEAR message, from Barack and the Democrats, was that not voting for the black guy made you a racist.

I work with children for a living. The evidence of this ideal, that voting against Obama was a racially motivated act, came to me tonight at the mall. I was shopping with some of my youth, and one noticed a t-shirt, one that I would have purchased if I could find my size. The t-shirt read: Don't Blame Me...I voted for John McCain.

The youth I was standing with noticed the shirt, then remarked, "Oh, my gosh!!! This is terrible! Look at this really racist t-shirt! What a racist thing to say!"

The 8th grade boy, who is a red-headed white boy, was incensed that such a t-shirt was being sold. He truly believed that the shirt was racist.

This young boy got the message, even if adults refuse to acknowledge it.

Obama was elected because people were made to feel guilty, and feel that they HAD to vote for the guy simply because he was black, and they did not want to feel like a bigot.

Affirmative Action just elected us a President. When he fails, and he will fail, it will be the biggest setback to the Civil Rights Movement since Dr. King was killed.

Are You Ready to Elect Louis Farrakhan's "Messiah?"

We tell you that Barack Hussein Obama launched his political career in the living room of a known terrorist.

So what?

We tell you that Obama is going to spend like an identity thief with a new platinum credit card.

So?

We tell you that Obama has made absolutely ZERO contributions to the US Congress, other than asking for approximately $1 million in pork spending per day.

Ah, that's just not important.

Obama's pastor of 20 years is a racist, bigoted, anti-American propagandist using the pulpit to degrade whites, America, and anyone who disagrees with any left-leaning black person.

THAT'S RACIST! HOW DARE YOU QUESTION A MINISTER ONLY BECAUSE OF HIS COLOR!!!!!

Obama's campaign gave $800,000 to ACORN to help with their 'get-out-the-vote' efforts. As we have seen, and continue to see develop before our very eyes, that Obama For President money went to one of, if not the, most corrupt, fraudulent voter registration scandals in the history of American politics. Voters' names are turning up 10, 15, even 20 times. All with different addresses or phony social security numbers. Fraud! Obama has had ties to ACORN, and their brutish, manipulative, goon-like behaviors, since he graduated from Columbia, and certainly as he was beginning to launch a political career.

Ah, who cares, right?

Maybe, just maybe this will stick. Maybe the left-wing loons can put down the Kool-Aid and think for themselves. Maybe.

Louis Farrakhan is a racist. He is a bigot. He is a zealot. He is very much an anti-Semite (hates the Jews, period.). He speaks to black people only to incite hatred, and to excuse a black man's personal failures as nothing more than the white man's racism.

Farrakhan is a racist. Plain and simple. He hates Jews. He hates whites. He constantly speaks against Jews and whites, tippy-toeing the line and almost crossing into inciting violence against Jews and Whites.

Now, I do not have a problem with a man simply based on his religion. I do not agree with certain faiths and doctrines, but I do not get involved in, nor really care about an individual's religion. I do not discriminated solely on religion. That being said, and add into the fray that Farrakhan has constantly said anti-Jewish comments that are nearly as full of hatred at Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, I think it bears pointing out that Farrakhan is the Head of the Nation of Islam.

He is the HEAD of the Nation of Islam. He spews hate-filled remarks against Jews.

And,in a recent endorsement of Senator Barack Obama, Louis Farrakhan made a remark that all but confirmed the mania that has been suspected of the left.

Here is a transcript of comments Farrakhan made to the Nation of Islam recently.

You are the instruments that God is going to use to bring about universal change and that's why Barack has captured the youth. And he has involved young people in a political process that they didn't care anything about. When the Messiah speaks, the youth will hear, and the Messiah is absolutely speaking.

Use this link to visit Glenn Beck's website and read the entire transcript from Beck's coverage of this speech. There is also a link to the YouTube.com video of this speech.

Transcript of Glenn Beck's segment on this video.

So, what is the deal here? Is a racist like Farrakhan calling Obama the Messiah? Or is Obama a tool of the Messiah of the nation of Islam?

Either way, is this an endorsement and an image that you are comfortable with? Can you hand the reigns of the free world to a man with such a resounding endorsement?

Or, am I just racist?

Don Imus v. Adam "I'm Not Pac Man!" Jones

The debate wages on. Is Imus racist? Is he a white elitist? Does he look down his nose at people of different races?

If he is racist and bigoted, should he be allowed to keep his current job and remain in his profession?

If he was so in need of termination papers for his first firing, why are there not nearly the outcries for his head on a platter now?

These are some of the most interesting questions regarding Don Imus, a morning talk-show host in New York. Recently, as many have heardover and over again, Imus made a comment that can be taken the wrong way, or in the way he claims he intended it. However, when it comes to race, if it is a white man involved, the court of public opinion will convict him of being racist.

First, let me say, I am not racist at all. I work with, talk to, eat with, email, and otherwise relate with people of different races, sexes, sexual orientations, and religions on a daily basis. I do so without hesitation or question. I see people as people first. The next paragraphs, when taken out of the context in which I am writing them, can and may be used to prove the entirety of this paragraph as false. However, I will call the truth as I see it. I hope readers will be mature and intelligent enough to take this commentary as a whole, and not pick and choose statements to fit their own agenda.

Now, I understand that racism and comments about race are offensive to some people. The "nappy-headed hoes" comment that Imus made in reference to the Rutgers women's basketball team was a toke over the line. However, I do not think that people like Al Sharpton and Jessie Jackson and the NAACP had the right to demand Imus be removed from his job. Imus, nor any person of any race, should automatically lose their job for a comment with racial undertones.

Imus is not and was not an elected leader. He is and was a mouthpiece hired for entertainment value to draw audience and sponsors. He is an entertainer. He is also an American, and, by proxy, has the right to FREE SPEECH.

Racism is not illegal. It is only against the law when hiring and firing employees, or when accepting or denying applications for housing, benefits, and schools. Otherwise, there is no legal statute that proclaims racism as illegal, either in speech or deed. There is nothing, legally, wrong with racism.

Imus has every right to say how he feels and to express his feelings toward other races. He should not lose his job because he offended people who heard his comments second- or third-hand. If you do not like what a person on the radio, TV, or internet has to say, you have every right to turn the channel...turn it off...or find an outlet yourself to disagree.

I am so tired of the double standard. Any black or hispanic commentator or entertainer can slam whites as much and as often as they choose. Chris Rock slams whites all the time. Carlos Mencia, who picks on everyone, would have been blacklisted for life had he said 1/2 of the things he has had he been white.

Everytime a white person mentions black people or has something bad to day about a black person, that white person is a racist and is scum. White people are made to feel guilty for just being white. I do not agree with Imus's comments, but I do think he has a right to say them.

If you don't like his comments, DON'T LISTEN. I don't listen to him. You don't have to. Ignore him. If he offends enough people, he will lose his job because the advertisers will stop advertising.

I am glad, but perplexed as to why Imus's job is not on the hot seat this time around. The cries from the leftist Uncle Toms (Jackson, Sharpton, Charlie Rangel, etc.) are very muted. Bill O'Reilly brought up a very interesting point as to why the "Fire Imus" chants are so quiet.

Barack Hussein Obama cannot afford a racial controversy to take the stage in the media now through November. A racial divide in America would cost B. Hussein Obama the election. Therefore, all the crazies out there are smart enough to let this slide for now. Even if Hussein Obama was not involved in the controversy, it would cause a social regression that would make it harder for whites to vote for an African American.

So, let me sum up this commentary. When hired as an entertainer who has to compete for ratings, sometimes lines will be crossed. A man should not lose his job because of his desire to compete. He has free speech, after all. And if you don't like what he says, TURN THE CHANNEL! Second, I am very curious as to why the libs like Media Matters aren't out there trying to crusify Imus again. Perhaps O'Reilly is on to something...

Until next time...thank you for reading! Be sure to visit www.AmericanSolutions.com and sign the petition.

My B. Hussein Obama Impression...

Let me see if I get close...I think I can give you the entire O-BOMB-A campaign in the following paragraphs. Let me know if I miss anything...

(Speaking as B.O.)

I believe that, together, we can change Washington. I believe that we need a change. We need to change for our future.

I believe in the future of America. I believe in our future. I believe that we can change and bring about a better future for America.

We need to stop the failed policies and end the war. We need to enact change in Washington. Together, a united America, can bring about the necessary change.

I believe my opponents, Senators Hillary Clinton and John McCain, are terrific people. However, they are not part of the change I see for America. They have been in Washington too long. They are old. I am young and fresh! I want to creat change in Washington, and change the course of America.

I believe in our future, America, and I believe in changing our future for the better. I don't think we need the same faces in new places in Washington...except me, but I've only been there one term, which is long enough to see that we need change.

As President, I will meet with the leaders of our allies and our enemies to bring about change in our foreign policies. I believe in the future of the world as a whole. I believe that we can work with foreign leaders to bring about change in the world and change for the future.

Many of my opponents and their supporters will try to throw my good friend, Reverend Wright, out there to take away from our message of hope for the future. Reverend Wright has made many comments that people find offensive. Many will add my friendship and on-going contact with William Ayers, who has been credited with saying he is proud of being a part of bomb attacks on US interests, as proof of my lack of ability or qualifications to be President. Many will throw out my connections to Louis Farakhan, who has been accused of being racist and bigoted.

Let us not be swayed! Those people, the ones that name-drop to attempt to hurt my campaign, are the people who do not believe in change! They will distract you from the facts.

The facts that we are here to focus on are the future.......... for the future! That is why we are here! I believe in change! You believe in change! We all believe in change for our future! Our future is too important not to change. We have to work toward our future, because without our future, the present means nothing. And let me tell you, the future is coming. We can't stop it.

But I believe in it. I believe in America.

Send me to Washington and let us create some change!!!!

(End my B.O. voice)

Ok, so how does that sound? Sound like B.O.?

I'm the right person...any questions you have are slanderous attacks!!!

Wow...what a joke.

Hillary and O-BOMB-A are on their way to making the whole democratic party a joke.

The latest Presidential Debacle...I mean Debate...shows just how inept both democratic candidates are, how sad and desperate their supporters and campaigns are getting, and just how much of a landslide Senator John McCain can win by.

Two normally biased, left-wing television journalists in Charles Gibson and George Stephanopoulos decided to be REAL journalists and ask REAL questions, trying to give both Hillary and O-BOMB-A a chance to show the record audience who is most qualified. The answer is neither one. Both Democratic candidates flubbed and flopped and looked like a 5 year old clinging to the barrier rope in a pool as they try to swim on the deep end.

Then, instead of smacking themselves in the forehead like in the V8 commercials, O-BOMB-A supporters are outraged at Gibson and Stephanopoulos for asking harsh questions.

Excuse me?

Asking about Reverend Wright and this terrorist Ayers character are harsh, unfair questions?

Huh?

The same people outraged at those questions applauded when Mitt Romney was grilled about his Mormon faith and whether he had "relations" with his wife prior to marriage. Yet, asking about O-BOMB-A's relationships to, first, a racist, bigoted, anti-American precher who acts as a Presidential candidtate's spiritual advisor, and, second, to a known and admitted terrorist in Ayers, is somehow out of bounds.

This isn't someone interviewing to clean port-a-potties. This is a Congressman who wants to lead the free world. Any association with a racist anti-American preacher and a terrorist needs to be completely vetted, revetted, and then, for the hell of it, re-examined. Any questions a journalist asks about this issue is fair game and is a necessity if this man wants to be President.

Yet, Democrats are showing what most people with common sense already knew. O-BOMB-A is absolutely NOT qualified to be in the White House as a visitor, much less President.

Then, I could go on for years on how un-qualified Hillary is. But, we know that. Appearantly she only answers phones at 3 am. Perhaps its because she had to stay up late all those years in Little Rock, and then again in D.C., waiting for Bill to come home from his affairs.

Let us not forget the blatant lies she has told. Ducking sniper fire in Bosnia? This was no slip of the tongue or accidental misremembering of facts. She told this story of getting fired upon by snipers on THREE occasions...and was proven to be blatantly false.

One minute Hillary was a co-president for eight years, the next she was only a consultant, the next she was no where near the Oval Office. It just depends on the situation and whether or not it was a success.

Its truly sad that there are two people who truly want to be GIVEN the office of President. I do mean GIVEN. They do not want to earn it. They do not want to prove their character and abilities. They do not want to answer the tough questions. They do not want anything from their past inspected. They want the world to take their word. They have no real backbone nor any real leadership abilities.

Based on their campaigns, a man who leads his church's slow-pitch league in batting average and homeruns and constantly tells of how he has been hitting homeruns since little league, even though there is no real evidence to back up those stories, deserves to be the top pick in the major league draft. No questions asked. No minor league success needed. Put him in the line up for the Yankees tomorrow. He deserves it. He can't prove his worthiness, just take his word for it and give him the spot.

All John McCain has to do is sit back and watch and let the two inept Democrats tear each other apart for the next two months.

Additionally, I wanted to add the following statement...

Thank you, Mr. Limbaugh for Operation Chaos...its working BRILLIANTLY!!!!

A Few News Items...

This has been a news-busy December. Quite a bit of controversey has eaten up the pages of newspapers throughout the world. So, let me take a minute, just sit right there, and I'll tell you how I became the Prince of a town called Bel Aire.

First, let's talk about Tookie. Stanley Williams. A convicted murderer. The founder, or one of the founders, of the deadly gang the "Cryps." Williams' death is the result of his crimes and the law of the land. The same people who want crime stopped will fight to the bitter end to save the life of one of the men most responsible for the amount of crime in LA. Women, who would be raped, robbed, and or murdered by the same thugs who run under the flag that Williams raised in the name of the Cryps, cried for him and his death. People accused Governor Swartzennegger of injustice. Yet, no where on the broad scope of our "unbiased" media did we see or hear the stories of the families torn apart by the four murders Tookie committed...nor did we hear a lot about how much terror and crime Tookie's boys are responsible for. Tookie claimed to be reformed and remorseful, yet never admitted responsibility for the crimes for which he was supposedly reformed and remorseful about. He never helped police arrest or convict any of his fellow criminals. All he did was create a few children's books. Woop-dee-doo. Justice was served. Stop crying for the sentence of a convicted killer. Cry for the slaughter of innocent babies.

Another battle is the politics over Iraq. Yes we are spending money. Yes, unfortunately, we are losing lives. Yes, war is hell and sucks. However, this is a war we needed to win and dominate to prevent the middle east from becoming a coalition of civilization-hating radicalists whose sole purpose in life is to kill Americans. We are winning this war. Iraq has had 3, not one, not two, but THREE...yes, count 'em, THREE free elections this year. Afghanistan is under the control of a democratic government...something liberal naysayers had said would never work. We are winning the wars in the middle east. We are winning in Iraq. Yet, you liberal weiners fight tooth and nail to demoralize our troops and accuse them of torture. Torture is begging for your life for a camcorder then having your head sawed off. Torture is not having to be stripped naked and women's underwear on your head. Torture is not gaining 5 pounds and leaving a prison healthier than when you arrived. To all liberals who are against our president and the war in Iraq, shut up. You lose. (Isn't it funny that the words of the liberals end up being repeated verbatim by people like Saddam and Al Zarqawi?)

Next is the "spying" controversy. The Bush administration, not much differently than the inept Clinton regime, listened in on calls between people in America and people on foreign soil. The calls were listened in to on the foreign end. Yet, you dumb liberals had to foil Bush at the potential expense of American lives. Let's expose a method of counter-terrorism that might prevent a terrorist attack for our own gain. The "spying" is looking at potential TERRORISTS and not trying to steal Grandma's secret recipe for brown beans. They are listening in on conversations between people who fit the description and patterns of the 19 murderers who killed 3000 people on 9-11-01. If you are a white, middle-aged male with 4 kids and a mortgage, chances are slim that you are even going to make a call to Afghanistan that would be listened in on. So, stop over-dramatizing the situation and claim the big, bad Bush Administration is spying on AMERICAN CITIZENS!!! State the facts: our government is seeking to find out intel about people with terrorist ties. You have nothing to hide? Then there is nothing to worry about.

Finally, as this blog is getting rather long and should be broken into chapters, let me say that the ACLU has outlived its usefulness. It is a shell of its original design. It is an extremist group of people out to make a name for itself at the expense of innocent people. To them, I hope they all get something other than coal for Christmas...maybe the "exhaust" from the deer-powered sleigh that Santa drives?

Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night!

Justice is Served

However, too many ignorant, bleeding-heart, kill-the-unborn-but-not-murderers-or-terrorists, misguided liberals are out on the war path. With their ultimate trump cards: RACE!! INJUSTICE!! DEATH PENALTY IS WRONG!!, these idiots cry for the soul of Stanley Tookie Williams, yet not a tear of theirs was shed for the four people, including one child, who were murdered in cold blood by Williams. Not one tear was shed by these protestors for the violence, crime, and murder that the Cryps have caused since Williams helped found the domestic-terrorist gang. Not a tear was shed for the families who lost so much in 1979.

Instead, we had these idiots crying themselves into convulsions over an event that can be summarized in one word. A word that is rare these days, especially in California, and especially when the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals gets involved. This word...this word, my friends, is JUSTICE.

Above is the chamber in which the lethal injection was performed. It is a clean, quiet, peaceful environment. Tookie did not die alone, face-down on a cold floor with his brains oozing out of his head.

To me, the death of Williams is bittersweet. Sweet only in the fact that the families who lost so much now have a sense of closure. Sweet in the fact that perhaps, just maybe, there will be one or two souls motivated to quit, or, even better, never to join, the Bloods or the Cryps.
It is bitter in the fact that yet one more heart is no longer beating as a direct result of Williams' life and the path he took in that life. One more beating heart stopped because Tookie could not motivate himself to make the world better. Instead, he chose crime and violence, and has paid the price for that poor choice.

Four people did not make such bad choices. They did not get a last wish or a peaceful death. They were shot in cold blood. Their last gasps for air were made fun of by the shooter. They had no last meal. They had no last chance for redemption.

Yet, who cries for them? And why are people crying for Williams?

Below, an anti-Tookie protestor at the execution holds up the autopsy photo of Yee-Chen Lin. Lin was one of Tookie's victims. Yet, Jessee Jackson, Al Sharpton, and all the race-baitors forget the victims of Tookie's crimes and violence. The photo is gruesome, but makes a point. With the lethal injection, Tookie's family was able to have an open-casket funeral. The victims' families could not.

The fact is that Stanley Williams is answering to a higher power for his crimes. He is directly responsible for countless acts of violence and countless crimes. His impact on society will ripple for generations.

And, if he had truly reformed, why did he not help police in finding and stopping other criminals? If he was remorseful, why did he never admit his guilt? How can you be innocent and at the same time be remorseful and reformed?

I hate that a man, a mother's son, is dead. However, I am glad that justice is served.

Race in America. Can a White Man even talk about it?

Today, I am going to make some people uneasy.

GOOD. People think better when they are taken out of their comfort zone.

Today, I am talking against MICHAEL ERIC DYSON and for BILL COSBY.

We all know who Bill Cosby is...a man who EARNED his way to prominence in not only th black world, but in the world as a whole. He went to school, read books, learned proper English, and became a rich, successful man. And he did it without relying on affirmative action or some other liberal "equalizer" to get him through. He is a brilliant man who worked hard to get what he has. Beginning at a speech to the NAACP, Cosby started a war on ignorance, laziness, crime, and lack of personal responsibility.

Many applauded his speech and his efforts to combat the downfalls of lower middle class and poor blacks. He brought their entire lifestyle and culture to question, challenged their disregard for taking it upon themselves to prosper without crime, and attacked their willingness to settle for the life they have without working toward a better future. As far as I am concerned, Cosby hasn't spoken a mistruth since he began his attack on the poor black cutlure.

But, then again, I am white. Where parents, for the most part, teach children that education and respect will get you places.

Cosby feels that in this country, in this day, no one who gets an education, develops proper self-respect, develops a respect for others, and becomes a worthwhile employee, anyone who does that, will succeed. Cosby sees ads many see, many poor blacks are not doing that today.
So, Cosby has been calling his race out-he wants work ethic to become a staple lesson to blacks. He wants a high level of personal responsibility restored. He wants blacks to become more educated, more responsible, hold higher moral standards, be better parents, and build a life that does not involve crime.

Why is that so wrong?

Michael Eric Dyson, also a successful African American, is a professor who completely disagrees with Cosby's attack on the poor black lifestyle. In fact, he put pen to paper and has a book out called: Is Bill Cosby Right? Or has the Black Middle Class Lost its Mind? This book is an attack on Cosby's attack. This book is a 300 page list of excuses for the poor black community to do just as they have for the past 20 years.

In an excerpt from his book available here: at NPR's website, Dyson insluts blacks as a whole while also attacking Cosby for coming out and challenging blacks.

Cosby's overemphasis on personal responsibility, not structural features, wrongly locates the source of poor black suffering—and by implication its remedy—in the lives of the poor. When you think the problems are personal, you think the solutions are the same. If only the poor were willing to work harder, act better, get educated, stay out of jail and parent more effectively, their problems would go away. It's hard to argue against any of these things in the abstract; in principle such suggestions sound just fine. But one could do all of these things and still be in bad shape at home, work or school. For instance, Cosby completely ignores shifts in the economy that give value to some work while other work, in the words of William Julius Wilson, "disappears." In our high-tech, high-skilled economy where low-skilled work is being scaled back, phased out, exported, or severely under-compensated, all the right behavior in the world won't create better jobs with more pay. And without such support, all the goals that Cosby expresses for the black poor are not likely to become reality. If the rigidly segregated educational system continues to miserably fail poor blacks by failing to prepare their children for the world of work, then admonitions to "stay in school" may ring hollow.

(The bold and RED is mine for emphasis on some of the statements made here.)

First, the comment that Cosby overemphasizes personal responsibility. To me, that is a statement that completely supports Cosby's statements. How can you OVEREMPHASIZE PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY? The choices one makes in this life are what determines our life. Yes, there are outside factors that contribute to our successes and failures. There are people who will do us wrong. There are unfair circumstances. SO WHAT? Get over it. Move on. Try harder. It is up to God's plan and your personal responsibility to yourself and your family as to whether you are a success in life. However, you cannot wait for God or any other deity, situation, or person to arrive to your front door step. You must make the efforts necessary to be a success. It is up to YOU and no other human being.

Dyson then berates his entire race with the second comments I put in bold. He all but calls blacks too dumb to work high-tech, high-skilled jobs. He says that in the high-tech, high-skilled work place, there are no or fewer opportunities for blacks. HUH? Just because the world is developing and requiring intelligence and education, there is no place for blacks? NO. If ANYONE gets an education and has work ethic, there is room for them in the work place. This is what Cosby is getting at. This goes back to the personal responsibility issue. You can't expect a drug dealer to drop the dime bags and walk into the CEO's chair at Microsoft. No. He's got to go to school, learn how to type and read and gain an understanding of computers, THEN he goes to work and climbs the ladder. Few, if any, successful people started on the top rung.

Dyson thinks blacks can't hang with the high tech world. Cosby thinks if they get and education and work for it, they can. Who do you side with?

The last comment in this excerpt from the excerpt bothers me very much. He blames the education system for the poor state that schools in highly black areas are in. How about looking around, Dyson. Its a vicious cycle of crime, irresponsibility, and laziness. The schools are in bad shape because the kids were not raised right and are running the school because they have not been taught responsibility. So, they have kids who go through the same cycle. IF the parents of poor black kids would raise them with integrity and personal responsibility, the kids would not ruin the schools and would be able to learn while in the building. However, when you are raised by the streets while mom is either coked and smoked out of her mind and sleeping with random men, or she is out working 2 jobs because her sorry man left, then the streets is all the kids know. And they bring the streets to school.

Bill Cosby is right. He may seem mean, hateful, and a traitor to blacks at times, but trust me, he is not. Cosby's crusade can save many blacks from the vicious cycle they are in, and at the same time, save our country. Cosby needs support from every person of every race.

If you ask me, Dyson is the traitor because he excuses the black behavior and encourages blacks to stay right were they are.

Racism in the NBA? Not Hardly

Okay, I really want to get away from this issue, but it keeps coming up.

Race.

Several talking heads in the sports world have created the recent MVP voting in the NBA into an issue of racism.

Mark Jackson, ESPN hoops analyst and former NBA star, said that a black point guard with Steve Nash's numbers would never be considered for MVP. Jackson said that he put up numbers like that and was lucky to make an all star game.

A columnist in Miami (MIAMI...you know, where the HEAT are from) thrust this into national spotlight as well when he suggested that race was a major issue in the voting for the 2005 NBA MVP.

Why is race ALWAYS an issue when a white guy wins out over a black guy? Anytime a white guy does well, earns an award or recognition over a black guy, its because of race. Whenever a white guy gets a job or promotion, racism is the blame for a black guy not getting the job or promotion.

Lets look at the facts. Steve Nash won the MVP because he was and is the most valauble player to his team's success. Take Nash from Phoenix, and you have a talented and young group of players who would be a lottery team again.

Take Shaq from Miami, and you've got a 6 or 7 seed in the playoffs.

The MVP is not for the BEST player, but the MOST VALUABLE. Nash was more important to the 33 game turnaround from 04 to 05 than the improvement of the Heat.

While I cannot guarentee that the thought of putting a white guy on top did not factor in at all to the voting, I can guarentee that race was not the deciding factor...it wasn't even a real factor. Just talking heads who like to stir things up and take away from the honor of being voted MVP.

Nash deserved it. The Suns won 33 more games than last season, and did so in the WEST...you know, the deepest most talented of the two conferences. Nash scored when needed, passed the ball when the time was right, took the shots his team needed taken, and played tough defense.

Nash was all over the floor for the Suns each night. Nash is the MVP, so get over it.

The Heat would have made the playoffs without Shaq. Phoenix would not.

Johnnie Cochran Funeral

The funeral of Johnnie Cochran was held in Los Angeles yesterday.

Attending were more free criminals than four seasons worth of The Sopranos.

OJ Simpson gave a eulogy. A convicted murderer who was freed on a technicality spoke and received a standing ovation for his comments about "the brothers and sisters" still in jail, as if no African-American is guilty and being held by "The Man."

Cochran spent his entire adult life fighting for the beliefs of the left and the freedoms of the guilty. His spectacle of a trial defense in 1995 freed a murderer. His work in the 70's and 80's freed a former Black Panther Party leader who was convicted of murder.

Cochran, while I hate to insult the dead, provided little or nothing to better our country or world. He constantly got on his high horse to attack police at every turn. You wonder why cops are less and less polite and courteous? Simply look at the BS cases Cochran fought and won. He took every chance he could to publicly berate, embarrass, and insult the work of the police at large.

He even rode his high horse into Mercer County, WV, to defend a violent, well-known drug dealer. The cops were outnumbered by the thugs interested in causing trouble late one night at a bar. Cops came to break up the commotion, this young punk resisted, a scuffle ensued, and in the confusion and scrum, the kid fell and injured his neck. He ended up paralyzed and Johnnie Cochran took the case...and the notoriety...to use this case as another forum to bash the police.

Yeah he defended Reginald Denny, the truck driver who was brutally attacked by thugs during the LA riots. However, instead of fighting against the coward scum that threw the brick into Denny's temple, Cochran sues the COPS for not doing their jobs properly.

While people mourn his passing, and rightfully so, I cannot tell you I respect the work he left behind. The families of Ron Goldman and Nicole Brown cannot either.

About Me...And This Blog Site...

My name is David A. Ebert, the oldest of two siblings produced by my parents, Leah and David G. Ebert. We are all Republicans, but I take it a toke or two...well, closer to 10 tokes...further than my parents,

I am very much a Right Wing Conservative. I am a Reagan Conservative. I believe Americans, in general, are smarter than elected officials in Washington, DC. We should be more in charge than the Government.

We, as individuals and families, should have more responsibility over our own, hard-earned money and not send more and more and more taxes to the out-of-touch politicians. I believe the government is there to serve us, and not us to serve them.

I believe in America's greatness and that, overall, we are the most generous, forgiving, intelligent, and genuinely decent country in the world. I also believe that we are the most powerful nation in the history of the world, but do not use that power to hold over the collective heads of other nations.

I believe that low taxes, intelligent spending of those tax revenues, strong initiatives on defense and education, and small government influence on the day-to-day lives of Americans are some of the most important ideals related to how the US should be operated.I believe in the freedoms granted by the US Constitution. I believe that judges should uphold and interpret the laws as written in the US Constitution, and not refer to any foreign legislation to make their historic decisions.

I believe the First Amendment, as well as the entire Bill of Rights, are the most important laws this world has ever seen.

I believe abortion is WRONG. I believe that homosexuality is WRONG. I believe that allowing anyone to publicly debate the possibility of lowering the age of consent, especially for young boys to consent to older men, is a tragedy of morality. I believe that organizations like NAMBLA should be publicly shunned and not given a platform to spew their harmful and dangerous rhetoric.

I believe there is a sad lacking in the ability of our nation to appreciate and accept self responsibility. We, as a nation, blame daddy, racism, sexism, classism, mommy, the mean teacher, the mean little league coach, the loud mouthed uncle, the financial status of the neighborhood in which we grew up in, and a million and one other reasons why we do not succeed. How often do we, as a nation, take the blame for our own mistakes? How often do you hear someone accept responsibility for their own mistakes? How often?

I am conservative. I am worried about the future of the country and the planet, especially if O-BOMB-A or Billary Clinton make it to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. I will start posting my fears, my hopes, my ideas as they all relate to news and politics. I hope to open some eyes and change some opinions with my writings. Most of all, I hope you will read my words and be inspired to find the truth...and not rely on Chris Matthews or Keith Olberman or Katie Couric or Matt Lauer for your opinions. I hope you will break the mold and do something unreal...unexpected...do something that O-BOMB-A and Billary are afraid of you doing...

THINK FOR YOURSELF.
